One of, if not the, coolest breweries I’ve been to. Their main brew barn has been beautifully restored, and feels like a Viking era great hall when you walk in. The barn sits on and overlooks their family farm, which has cows, alpacas, pigs, and emu’s to view with a beer. There is also a great view of the surrounding mountain ranges. The beer is very high quality and their NE IPAs were great.

Also on the property is an ice cream shop, a very large playground for kids, and a food area equipped with a large stone fire that cooks the majority of the food there. What’s super cool is all of their meals and ingredients are directly from their farm - so you know the food you are eating was properly and humanely farmed.

Another Massachusetts gem!

As a family with young kids, finding a brewery where everyone can have a good time can be a challenge. Stone Cow Brewery absolutely nailed it!
The setting on a beutiful farm with so much open space is perfect. The hamburgers are delicious!

Spacious. Relaxing. Best cheese pizza ever. Variety…..

Beautiful area. The music is great, but the food is horrible. The burger tasted like I was eating charcoal, no tomatoe, despite it coming with lettuce and tomato and the fries were ice cold and clumped together. This is my second time getting food here and it was gross.

I come to Stone Cow several times in the summer for their outdoor BBQ…the grass-fed burgers are great and so are their fries! Ice cream is good too. Good spot for families but can get very busy especially if they’re having a weekend event.

They usually have barn animals like pigs and cows that people can pet/feed which is cute in theory. But then you wonder whether they slaughter them which doesn’t feel great after you’ve just eaten a burger…?

Excellent brewery with bbq, ice cream, farm animals, & plenty of beer. There is lots of space and shaded areas to hang.

Great atmosphere. Huge area with authentic barn, lots of open area and very kid friendly with lots of things for kids to do. Dog friendly also.
Went on Father’s Day and it was packed, super packed.
Wait times were long (15+ mins drinks and 90+ mins food), but I think it was the day.
Enjoyed eating and drinking lounging on the grass. We took our own blanket, as there was no seating available.
Beer was good. Food was good, but expensive. So I did not find the food worth the price. Also, disappointed the only cows were in a far off pasture, considering “cow” is in their name and pictures of them on the website. They had a few animals in pens, but they seemed more for show.

Great place to visit. Excellent beer and food. Love this place during all seasons. Wonderful music also! Very homey and relaxing. We’ve been going for years since they first opened.

I just stopped to get beer for a friend. But it looks like a pretty cool place to hang out.

Was driving home from Vermont when we passed this brewery we didn’t know existed. I’ve been to a lot of breweries and this was one of the best! Great beer, great atmosphere, dog friendly, ice cream, and live music. They had it all! Oh and farm animals!

Good atmosphere. Family friendly. Has farm animals to look at and a play ground.

Great atmosphere, live music and tasty beers. The food was just ok, maybe because it was Father's Day and a large crowd. I'll be back for sure.

I was here for a family party and there was a (decent) band playing loudly so we sat outside to be able to talk. I got to taste some wood-fired pizza and smoked chicken wings, both of which were good. I also tried their draft cider, which was interesting, but a bit sweet for my taste. ( I started drinking hard cider in France, and brut cider from Normandy is my favorite, so I admit to being spoiled.) I would like to go again sometime and actually eat a meal. The toughest part for me was getting into the restaurant itself, as there is no designated handicap parking, and the walking is on the rough side. I was one of three older members of our party, and driving myself, so no option to be dropped off near the entrance. Also food and drink seems basically self-service, with no menus to be seen away from the counters, of which there were separate areas for food and drinks. It was very crowded, not surprising on a Saturday evening, and I'd like to try it again at a less busy time.
