My family went to the Barree Patch on 12/2. We we're met by a hostile woman. She asked "3"(no hello, no welcome), I said " it'll be five, we have two more adults coming in". She was rude and let out an annoyed and exagerated sigh and said "you're going to have to wait", I responded with a "no problem, how longs the wait? "Her response: I don't know.As she said that, another gentleman walking by said "I'm clearing a table for 5 now, give me just a minute". The disgruntled woman mumbled something to a coworker in an mocking way, grabbed menus, and started walking towards said table. Uncertain, we followed (she hadn't said a word, not a right this way, nothing). She sat us at a table and that's the last interaction we had with any of the 4 workers that walked past us a dozen times in the 35 minutes we sat there waiting to be greeted and for a drink order to be taken. After the 35 minutes, we left. As we were walking out, we walked past the rude woman, a young guy and anothe middle aged woman...NOT ONE apologized or acknowledged us.Its no wonder they are closing their doors for good. Worst customer service ever. If a zero star rating was an option, that's what they'd get.

I really can't figure out why this place isn't busier. We had burgers, a pulled pork sandwich and chicken tenders and everything was excellent. They have very unique French fries that are awesome. They focus on all local draft beer. Pricing is good for what you get.This is the best restaurant within a 10 miles radius of this location, and it's never very busy. I just can't figure it out.

DON'T go on a night with live music if you don't like yelling at your partner the entire evening. Supposedly the band 'couldn't' turn the music down. In such a large room with very little fabric to soak up sound, it echoes, and was painful enough that we had to eat outside. It was too cold to eat outside, but we did it anyway.

We live right down the road from the Barre Patch and had heard some mixed reviews from folks who first visited the restaurant but I have to say that our entire family's meal was truly fantastic. The fries were off the charts and the burger was beautifully made. I had the fish and chips and the haddock was fresh and had a unique, crispy batter that we were all very impressed with. Great beer selection, awesome wait staff, and an overall great atmosphere to have dinner in (especially since it was where we originally bought our wood stove back when it was Higgin's Energy). I would recommend the Barre Patch to anyone in the area and I am so happy to have another great business in the greater Worcester / Quabbin area. Cheers!

If you can't find something you like here, I don't know what to tell you!! Do yourself a favor and take a drive up 122 to Barre - you can't miss the Patch, it is right on the curve! Over priced. Rude staff. Food is expensive for something that comes in small portions. Example: steak is 32$ for a small piece, and small sized side dishes. 2$ for an extra cup of salad dressing (tiny cup of salad dressing) the lady who owns this place is a scammer.

Delicious Reuben tot appetizer. Fresh local beer. Beer battered fish. Hamburger cooked to a perfect medium rare. Perfectly crisp french fries. All served by a friendly attentive wait staff.

Wonderful place to eat. The service was outstanding. Our waitress was professional, friendly and had some very good suggestions! I tried something I had never heard of ...farro salad based on Toni's suggestion. It was delicious.
