We had Thanksgiving dinner at Tashan. Wow... The buffet dinner style was amazing. The decor qas clean and modern. This review is for their Thanksgiving buffet only, not their regular weekday/weekend buffet. The number of options was at least 25-30 options including 4-5 different desserts. I tried probabably 15+ different bites of different dishes. Vast majority was delicious. My favorites were the beet salad with fresh goat cheese, lentil daal, silky fried Eggplants in tomatos sauce, the mushrooms stewed in tomato sauce, butter chicken, a mutton dish (although the mutton was a bit chewy), spicy fried chicken with tomato sauce, lamb meatballs, veggie biryani and chicken biryani and a few others. Most tasted delicious, except for the naan bread, grilled chicken kabobs and the spinach koftes. Those did not taste right to me. For desserts, I had the espresso mousse and the warm bread pudding. Not too sweet. Yummy. Their Thanksgiving Buffet dinner was $45pp, which is higher than typical weekday/weekend buffets, but I thought that it was worth it and reasonably priced.
Tashan was a huge disappointment to me and the family. It is an overrated with mediocre food quality and taste BUT priced heavier than a Michelin star restaurant. The prices were just outrageous for the quality of the food. Never again for sure!
It was wonderful experience. Great food and service. We will come back.

Always very tasty and enjoyable meals. Complex and interesting flavors, elegant presentation, great drinks.
We had an absolutely wonderful time at Tashan tonight for dinner! The ever smiling and courteous staff coupled with the warmth and hospitality of the chef and the owner made it a memorable experience. We tried a number of dishes from galauti kabobs, dal makhani, and chaat to chicken biryani and every dish was delicious! Can’t wait to be back :)

This is absolutely one of the best places I have ever gone to for dinner. The atmosphere is inviting and sophisticated, the dishes are a perfect blend of traditional and creativity, the staff have smiles all around. It is difficult to find authentic South Asian restaurants in the area and also ones that are friendly and affordable, and this place truly checks off every single box. This easily wins a spot in my top ten favorite restaurants in the greater Boston area. Please visit and support businesses that truly embody the culinary perfection and hospitality that defines the South Asian culture.

Came to Tashan on a weekend around noon and stumbled across brunch.
35$ for all you can eat and desserts.
Was really good, a little above average in quality from your standard Indian spot or buffet bar
Nice find
They have their own parking
Reservations are recommended at all times

Went on a week day for buffet. Very limited choices except for all kinds of chicken (tandoori, korma, that this!). The Dhal with spinach was watery. Most of the curries were not tasty seemed like watered down. Everything looked the same meaning tomatoe gravy poured over the chicken. Didn't see any greens etc. For $23, I think Godavari which is not highly rated but their buffet is much better with more options.

Normal Spice level is a bit of a challenge for certain pallets, which hides the actual texture and taste of the good entree.
