We sat at the bar and ordered a beer each and a pizza. The place was slow to moderately busy. After 40 minutes we still did not have our pizza so we asked the bartender. She was gone for 5 minutes or so. When she returned she had out pizza. It was luke warm at best and clearly had been sitting for sometime. If I wasn't starving I would have sent it back. Thankfully it was tasty. None the less it will be a while before I go back.
Food was great as always. When I came in the guy handling the pizza slices was very busy with a couple of guys ordering a lot of different pizza slices. I stood in front of the cash register for several minutes. While waiting to be served I noticed two young ladies employees in the bar chatting. There was nobody at the bar except for maybe one person. I turned my head towards them thinking they would see if I needed anything. They did not, I turn my head to the rear at the entrance...
Quick shout to you guys. Had a pepperoni hot honey Sicilian slice tonight. That thing needs to be a regular. Been a loyal Antone's guy for the better part of 20 years and that was one of of the best pieces of pizza I've ever had. Also, hat's off to the slice-tender who knew I like my slice's uncooked.
