It’s a great place! Tried the ham and cheese croissant here—impressive quality. You can tell it’s made using proper lamination technique: the dough has beautifully defined layers, light and flaky. The coffee was well-balanced with a smooth finish. A solid spot if you appreciate well-crafted pastries and good coffee.
My favorite bakery in town! The Belmont location has better lunch options too. I love their seasonal drinks with rotating homemade syrups and the breakfast sandwich is amazing. You can’t go wrong with any of their pastries. Major hack is to buy a mystery bag through the app too good to go, they’re great to get an assortment for a party. The ambiance is only ok, it’s better to take to go imo
We were on our way to another coffee shop on Leonard Street when we spotted Butternut Bakery. We decided to give it a try. We're glad we did! The ambiance, food and service were exceptional. My wife and I had their Ricotta cake. Absolutely delicious 😋.
