Great experience. We didn't have a reservation but the staff accomodated us. The food, desserts(ice-cream and rice pudding) and service were great.Highly recommend making a reservation as it gets busy. We will definitely be back!

An amazing gem in Belmont. I can’t recall ever having a more tender chicken than I had here. The portions for the main dishes are enormous so they’re worth the price. The staff were kind and attentive. I’m looking forward to trying more dishes and I highly recommend Cafe Vanak!
Vegetarian options: The menu offers an impossible version of some dishes and there are grilled veggie options as well.
Parking: There’s a small lot behind the cafe, and street parking seems reasonable.
We tried Vanak food for our lunch today It was great, well done and well packaged. Chicken and beef kabab were amazing. I hope we do try again and recommend it for my friends!

I tried their ghormeh sabzi (the veggie stew) twice; it tasted delicious, but I kept getting stomachaches and diarrhea right after eating. I grew up in Iran and never had any issues with this food. Something isn't right with how they prepare it. I don't recommend it.
