Wow what a welcoming and entrancing shop! I was a bit overwhelmed by the expansive offerings. Thankfully I had just eaten or I might have bought out the store. The staff was kind and maybe a little amused as I wandered around discovering. I was especially excited to find and purchase grape leaves stuffed with lamb. I can't wait to go back and try more!

They have the best sarma and lamejun. We grilled our halloumi and put it inside the lamejun, delicious!

2025 update: got Lahmacun, 2 boxes, I was gonna post pictures of them, but they were all eaten so fast, so delicious. Now I have to get more!

We went in for spinach and feta turnovers and left with more deliciousness. Warm spicy aroma hits you as you open the door. The owner let me purchase half a packet of pizzas instead of buying all 12.

This is a nice and clean mid-east market — one large, well-lit room with shelves neatly stocked. A very good selection with very good prices!

We visited Eastern Lamejun Bakers on Saturday and loved everything about it!
The staff were incredibly friendly, and it was our first time trying Armenian food — everything looked and tasted amazing. We especially enjoyed the lentil keofta, meat lamejun, preserved figs and apricots, and sesame cookies.
This visit made us want to learn more about Armenia’s unique culture, language, and cuisine, which are distinct from Turkey’s.
I personally love this kind of handmade, homestyle food — simple, honest flavors you could enjoy every day.
Highly recommend this place if you love discovering new tastes!
And nothing beats their cookies and sweets with a warm spiced tea — a perfect weekend treat!
