We have eaten pizza from Lisa's sometimes and it is OK, with a decent selection of toppings. But, Wednesdays and Fridays my wife wants to eat fish. We usually cook it ourselves but sometimes it is just nice to have no dishes to clean. For us, that is when we order Fish & Chips from Lisa's Family Pizzeria. Surprisingly we have found it hard to find any authentic Fish & Chips in the Boston area. What we have found is that Lisa's F&C is made with fresh haddock and the fry oil seems to be changed regularly so the everything is crisp and the flavor of the fish and potatoes comes through. Portions are generous, price is reasonable, the staff are consistently friendly. and they even include tartar sauce and lemon on the side. A win.(OK - Murph's Law in effect - 1 hour after writing this review, we ordered again. Fish was still good, but fries were changed to steak fries and coleslaw was so soggy with mayo that it was inedible. Not sure what's up? After many orders this was a first so I won't change rating, but thought it should be noted.)

Ordered from here a couple days ago. My brother and father got steak and cheese and I got a panini. Needless to say a couple hours later we were all vomiting. Never again. I’ve had the wings before and they had a slimy texture. Very odd place.

Overall the foods good. I had Cheesey fries for the first time, and I wasn't impressed. I prefer Wendy's fries. The Grilled Chicken Panini wasn't seasoned enough for my liking. It was rather bland, and I'm not sure what type of bread was used.

We haven't had Lisa's famous Sicilian recently, so we decided to order this delicious pizza. Well, it used to be delicious! Dough was rubbery and dry. Cheese and pepperoni tasted like cardboard. We checked Yelp, and found that Lisa had new ownership, so totally made sense the quality also changed - in the wrong direction!

Lisa's Family Pizzeria in Belmont is an A++ across the board. Most importantly, the food is superior quality. Secondly the prices are more competitive than anyone in the area. I have been in Watertown for 10 years and Lisa's pizza is in a league of their own with the taste and quality of their pizza, and they have a number of pizza and food options to choose from. I have also had their chicken stir fry sub which is mouthwatering, and their chicken wings this week exceeded all expectations. The family owned business also has a very friendly family making the atmosphere very comfortable. I have yet to go wrong with anything I have ordered. If you are also on the move and need a quick hit with 2 cheese slices and a soda it is $5 which includes tax, and if fresh out of the oven it is incredibly delicious and ridiculously reasonable for $5. Don't forget to join their loyalty program either as it is the best one in the area. Do not hesitate to put Lisa's into your consistent rotation!Parking: I tend to get a free parking spot on the street within a 30 second walk.

No complaints about the pizza, it has a nice thin crispy/chewy crust, but the marinara is FAR too chunky to send out as a dipping sauce. Its more like salsa.
