Ordered food online last night. It said order would be delivered in about an hour. An hour and half later I called. They turn answering off due to high volume. Tried calling back several times. Decided to drive to Number One, right down the street. They said the order was out for delivery. Came home and waited about another half hour. Called and got through. Talked to the woman that answered the phone and she said she had no record of our order even though we were there and said it was out for delivery, and my account had a charge pending. After going back and forth she suddenly found the order. I said we would be there in 10 minutes to pick it up. When we picked it up and brought it home within 10 minutes the food was barely warm. Plus when ordering online I included a tip for delivery and we ended up picking it up. Total was 2hrs and 45 minutes to get rather cold food. I have filed a dispute with my bank. DO NOT EVER order food from there. Also, the food is not even good!!!

Ignore the canned response telling me to email the owner…it’s an invalid address! This place is ridiculousOrdered a sweet and sour chicken for delivery and found a dead bug in my rice. I called the restaurant, and the woman on the phone told me that if I don’t like the rice, don’t order it next time! Then told me the owner would talk to me and probably hung up the phone! Eat at your own risk. I will be throwing this away.

Number One Taste is my primary go-to, whether for mini-pork-leek dumplings, too many rice or noodle dishes to mention, and when I'm not feeling well, their chicken won-ton soup (not too salty, and not at all oily, flavor is tasty and fabulous with the slight hint of garlic). Their delivery is always prompt and a smiling exchange with the driver. The same courtesies are present at their site as well.

Number 1 Taste is our favourite nearby takeout place - they've been great about accommodating multiple allergies for a single dinner order and make tasty, very affordable Chinese American takeout food. The only downside to their menu is a relatively small selection of veggie foods compared to meat/seafood having dishes.I'll miss them if we ever move!
