PLEASE READ: Does no one remember that the owner of this whole enterprise is a racist homophobe that stepped down only after ~300 employees stood up for themselves and gave terrible accounts of their experiences with her and the overarching management of the company? There are so many other FANTASTIC options where you can have amazing pastries and coffee drinks without supporting a racist homophobe. Bring your business elsewhere.

Great Food and service for dinner here. Highly recommend it. Was so impressed with how the staff accommodated the different needs of moms with tots with that of seniors . All of our food was so delicious!

Love the location and vibe of Tatte in Belmont. Was hoping to love the food because the staff is wonderful and it is a lovely place to hang out. Unfortunately, I haven't liked any of the food offerings, but I am willing to try one more time. The croissants are an air-blown tragedy. Tasteless, no crusty outside, yucky for dipping. The coffee is sub-par -- mochas so sweet it was difficult to drink (yes, I realize it is supposed to be sweet, but it tastes like bad, canned Hershey choc syrup. Reg coffee is bitter, lukewarm warm and bulk tasting. So many food choices, but nothing sophisticated or high end in terms of finesse. At least this location is not as chaotic as Tatte in Harvard Square. Great to have a parking lot, but very confusing on what spots are "legal." Too many B&B Towing signs -- a known local predator company -- to confuse what is allowed. Sad because Belmont could really use a spacious, airy and well-lit hangout like this one.

Love tatte and the variety of quality items you can get from them and enjoy their ambiance eating in their cafe.

So happy to have a Tatte Bakery close by! I love this location and definitely think the acoustics are better vs other Tatte Bakeries. Higher ceilings and less noice bouncing around the walls.Of course in true Tatte fashion everyone is welcoming and attentive. Ordered Tuna Nicoise Salad and BLAT Sandwich. Our lattes couldve been better, but the location’s new, maybe the barista still getting a hang of things. Pastries are fresh, must come earlier for a Cheese Bureka!!What is unique in this location is they rolled out a sizeable supper menu from 5-9 PM. Will definitel be back to try!

Belmont is happy to finally have a decent cafe? However this location has very bad seating and zoning. The whole space is taken by the counter. The seating is all around it along the walls, that have columns and niches limiting the space. Bulky couches eat even more of the space. Why not make more space by putting chairs instead? So that people can move them to their comfort? One zone (e.x. a table put in a niche) overlaps another (see the picture). The zone with high chairs is squeezed between the kitchen and the counter, right in the middle of food smells and non-stop fuss of the personnel.Good new is that they finally started letting people sit in the area by the window ?Though the overall space is much bigger than that of Tatte in Charles Street, Boston, you will not see Tatte’s famous wooden table with flowers here because of bad zoning. The personnel is very nice, the atmosphere is cheerful. I recommend this place to anyone. Let’s hope they will figure out how to improve the seating soon ?

Maybe a 4.5 to be realistic. The only issue I've had at any Tatte is speed of service. I don't find them particularly efficient. But overall I like the location in Belmont, and it's now my favorite coffee and pastry place, even over the new new one/s. I've always found a seat, even in the very crowded ones. Regardless, as others note the quality of the coffee, pastries, and the lunch are excellent, and likely worth the price. It's not cheap, but the pricing is fair and clear. Oh, and the best frickin jelly donut I've had in a long time. Really worth it if you can.

Flavor: 5/5 Delicious, tender braised beef. Well oiled and seasoned couscous & broccolini. The pomegranate seeds were a burst of fragrant flavor that complemented the saltiness of the couscous. Portion size: 5/5 Filled me up perfectly, even after giving some to my partner. Service: 5/5 Long line, quick service! Went around lunch time and the line wrapped around the entrance, but had my order taken fairly quickly. Bang for your buck: 4/5 Spent around $20 for my bowl, which is a bit pricey, but I am willing to pay slightly more for a special meal like this one.

This is the only place in the Boston area that I’ve been to where the staff smiles at you. I come here so often, they all know my name.

It's a nice location and the staff are friendly. The food is good and the coffee, very good. It was pretty busy when we went, but the overwhelming impression is that it's just not so clean. The tables aren't cleared when someone leaves. If someone working there notices, they will take things away. If not it's like...whatever. Tables aren't wiped clean between customers, but to be honest, that seems to be the norm these days. It's also a pressure to find somewhere to sit and it's busy, so you might not actually find anywhere. On the whole, it's an okay Tatte, but not necessarily one I'd want to rush back to.

6 stars please. I've seen these around the area whenever I'm working. well today. The Belmont location was the only place close enough to where I was working to get a sandwich. I ordered the BLAT, Bacon comma lettuce comma avocado and turkey. Oh my god, it was absolutely delicious. It normally came on rye bread but I ordered it on a piece of challah. As I walked out of my sandwich. I noticed they had tuna fish on the menu. I can go into Anaphylactic shock if I come in contact with tuna or any of its by products. So I went up to one of the servers and said I screwed up. I forgot to tell you. I have a severe allergy to tuna. I said I said can you guarantee me? This sandwich was prepared with no tuna products in close proximity? They said no and graciously offered to make me another sandwich following proper protocols. Like I said, the sandwich was absolutely delicious. but the sixth star is for how they treated me when I told them about my allergy.. I ordered the natural pear juice, Which was also absolutely delicious

Wonderful new spot but don't go for lunch! I have stopped by for sit down lunch and we can't get a seat. To many singles sitting with their laptops and a cup of coffee. Hopefully they had more than that before we came in. I hope they stay around however may want to change their seating time limits. I left frustrated. This is the third time we were unable to get a seat.
