This food is BOMBB and the place is so cute. I just picked up lunch from there for the first time and got the tuna and avocado sandwich. It was delicious! There were also so many handmade little gifts in there and I definitely want to go back to try more things.

Overbird Cafe was a pit stop while out Estate Sale shopping. We had a party of three and were able to secure a nice table in the middle of the room. I had ordered a Flat White as well as an Herbed Biscuit Egg Sando. My flat white was very good, texture was great, not my usual order so I'll leave the comparisons alone. My other party members both ordered Cubano sandwiches and to much regret I wish I had also. Although the components of my sandwich were good, great egg, good biscuit (very well seasoned) but it was all a bit dry. Definitely would recommend pairing a sauce with it, I settled for dipping it in a combination of Sriracha and ketchup. Upon leaving I had my eye on a ham, egg, and cheese focaccia round type pastry and I got another large cold brew. The pastry ended up being incredible reheated at home and the black cold brew coffee was smooth, hit the spot, got me through the day.
Nothing wrong, I can see the charm of a nice local neighborhood spot but I'm just not from around the area. Service was excellent and with spots like this, having friendly staff who make great drinks and treat their customers well goes a long way, just don't see myself going out of my way to return. If you're living in the area and need a local cafe, highly recommend stopping in.

I purchased 6 Corn Cream Biscuits at the Acton-Boxborough Farmer's Market this morning. They COMPLETELY crumbled into crumbs and tiny pieces. Very disappointed. Not edible as a biscuit or muffin.
UPDATE: I returned to the Farmer's Market today 10/12/2025 and the owner/manager said he responded to me by email. However, I didn't see it. BUT, he graciously refunded more than what I paid for the biscuits and an apology. I appreciate his gesture and customer service response. owner/manager said he responded to me by email. Glad this spot exists! They serve delicious chocolate chip scones, offer some fun accessories, and sell Broadsheet coffee beans. Prices are reasonable for the quality. While it may not be the best bakery in Massachusetts, it’s a great place to grab a snack or drink and relax for a bit.
Ovenbird catered our Memorial Service, it was extremely well done. The cheese, charcuterie, pickled veg, and seasonal pastries were incredibly delicious and the perfect amount. I gave them a budget and they came way way under. They worked on my tight deadline and just made everything easier.

We used Ovenbird Cafe for catering for our wedding recently and they were outstanding! We worked with Jason primarily who was organized, professional, and receptive to our wants and needs. At the event the staff was fantastic and everything ran incredibly smoothly. All the guests raved about the food! We had passed apps, a buffet dinner, and desserts all of which were delicious. Things here felt personalized to our requests too, which made for a very special evening. I would highly recommend them.

The food was really disappointing. The avocado was off, and the turkey sandwich had a very strong, unpleasant odor!! Overall, the food did not feel fresh or well prepared, and I would not recommend this place based on my experience.

Just tried this place this summer for the first time! Upon entering, there was a little shopping side that you could browse before or after ordering food. I got the Chicken Piccata sandwich and it was delicious. The sandwich did not come with chips though.
