It was our first time dining at Emerald Rose with a party of four. We had an excellent table, our server, Denise was excellent and her suggestions were spot on! Chili, short ribs, all did not disappoint. The manager onsite that night, Winston, came to our table to say “hello” and Paul at the front of the house was very accommodating as we ran late for our 5PM reservation. I'd highly recommend it!

The service was very good and the food just ok. Their prices have gone up and their menu has less on it.No flatbreads ,no banger and .mash. drinks pricy for a local restaurant. I think they don't know what they want to be. Used to go there a couple times a week. Now a couple times a year

Less than pleasant bar staff. The restaurant was packed. great atmosphere. However, the bartender was under 21. She did not know any drinks to recommend and surely was not able to taste the drinks she was giving out. Way too strong! I assumed thats how underage bartenders “think” all drinking is. Older bartender was extremely rude when younger bartender asked what to recommend. Awkward situation to say the least. I would recommend for food the haddock.

Feels more like a traditional pub with good everyday values done right - friendly but not over the top service, excellent food, good pricing, and relaxed atmosphere. Fish and chips was a particular highlight and best I've had in a very long time.

Our waiter was attentive and helpful. Great Service! The haddock was very fresh and wonderful. My husbands sirloin steak was delicious. The drinks were to die for!

The Emerald Rose had a good atmosphere. The food was great. The service was excellent. Great value for your money. I highly recommend this place. Oh and the beer selection was pretty good.

We have been to Emerald Rose several times over the last decade. This visit did not live up to our previous experiences. The menu has a good variety and our group of four chose a variety of dishes. The turkey dinner is always a good choice, however, one friend had the sirloin steak and it half of it was fat and it had a large piece of bone in it that we never find in sirloin steak. When the friend complained to the server about it, she said she loves her steak with a lot of fat. Not good. The bread is always good, but we had to request a refill twice. The room was very loud; even the server complained about it. Even though it was only 7:30pm, the restaurant emptied out quickly; a trip to the bar was more inviting. I am wondering why the restaurant was not very crowded.

Our party of 3 ordered 3 different meals: salmon w/lobster risotto (outstanding!), pan seared haddock w/risotto (delicious!) and steak tips (slightly overcooked, but so tender). Everything was wonderful. Service is outstanding. Never rush you.
