Not a bad little place. Food was just ok and the drinks were hit or miss. Service was a little slow but overall decent. Had a BLT and it was a little overpriced for what it was.

Food—overall not great, but decent. Cajun shrimp and rice were good, steak tips had good flavor but were over-cooked, chicken was mediocre, and peas had quite a few small hard peas mixed in.
Alcohol—limited selection of craft beer. Decent variety of IPAs, but not much else.
Atmosphere—super loud (the rooms are really echoey and my husband and I couldn’t hear each other from inches away). Much older crowd and everyone was practically screaming. Some neat guitars on the wall.
Staff—friendly and helpful.
Cleanliness—overall clean although there was something super sticky on my chair and the table was not 100% clean.
Seating—almost everything is a high top, which almost caused us to leave until we found two tables in the bar area that were normal height. Due to an injury, I don’t sit well at high tops.

I have never written a review in my life but this place tops the list. On 5/29 I showed up for lunch there were two people at the bar and three people at one table. I sat at the bar was never greeted found a menu started looking threw it one of the guys at the bar kept going behind the bar filling his drink meanwhile the bar tender just stood there saying nothing then she finally walked over to the one table she had and proceeded to have a neverending conversation with them. So after 15 minutes of no greeting or service I walked out on my way out I stated very loudly I thought you served drinks here apparently I was mistaken to which know one responded Ps lived in billerica all my life the bar is right down the street from my house terrible service will never go again.

Great little hometown pub. They do their best to make everyone feel like a regular. Beer and drinks have always been good. Food has improved a ton over the last few weeks after they made some changes. Definitely worth stopping by for a pint.

This experience was amazing. This bar brings people together and the energy is so good. I feel at home not judged my anyone I can be myself and I’ve been searching that my whole life.
