I am an employee of this place and I want to emphasize that I know the reasons why Mr. Eleazar is saying that they did not pay his last check. The chef has proof that he deposited his check in the mail so that it arrived at his house. Only this man wanted to be left working alone so he could be using his cell phone and being rude in front of the cameras with the chef.
Besides, he is a man who defames this country and its people. It is because of people like you that they have a bad opinion of us Latinos and I put myself first. I invite all people to come and see through their own experience what the tavern is like and enjoy our food and drinks in a family atmosphere.

The bar service was good, the food was terrible.

It's a new owner, the kitchen was sold and the chef and some cooks left. I left too and I've been trying to get in touch with the owner because I worked there the last week and he doesn't want to pay me. It's a horrible experience and dishonest people who care more about money than the quality of the food.

The service was great but the food was disgusting. I had a Reuben and could barely chew it. It was tougher than beef jerky.

Great place if you want to drink , play Keno and watch sports but if you want a decent meal go elsewhere. We had the tips and baked haddock. The tips were good a little fatty but the potatoes tasted like boxed and not really garlicky, the broccoli was bad ..... yellow exactly not green.
The haddock that was supposed to be topped with Ritz crackers???? not exactly sure what was on top but it was definitely something sprinkled from a bottle and was overkill the rice was pasty and pretty sure from a package. The coffee was great as was the lemon water. But for 53$ I would of rather eaten at home and saved my money

Not sure why this place has a 4.6 rating. Deserves zero stars. Owner is extremely unprofessional and has no business owning a bar. I highly recommend to NOT eat or drink here. Save your dollars for a deserving small business. Parking lot is also the worst design in town. My brand new Chevy Blazer RS got backed into and wrecked my door. Will never return here ever again especially because all the good workers are long gone.

Parking: Extremely dangerous parking lot and your chances of getting your car wrecked are extremely high

Stopped in today to get takeout for lunch just before 12:30 pm. It was quiet, the bar had people eating. It was clean. The lone server greeted me as soon as I walked in, asked me to hang on a few minutes. I had checked the menu and ordered an American Burger “Fresh handmade patty grilled to your liking and topped with melted American cheese. Served on a toasted buttery brioche bun with a side of hand-cut fries.” I ordered medium rare, and asked for some siracha aioli on it. I waited a bit then headed home to eat lunch.
The good: The brioche bun was buttery. The fries were crunchy. My burger did have requested aioli on the side, and the other veggies as ordered.
The bad: The bun was stale on the edges. The burger was not medium rare, it was burnt. and was dry and tiny. The bun oversized the burger. If those fries are hand cut, my name is Rumpelstiltskin. They were covered with a ton of pepper. Maybe they were frozen “hand cut style” fries. Cmon, at least be honest on your menu. The hand cut fries and the details in the menu were why I came.
My advice – move on- there are better burgers and fries in the area. $17 of disappointment to feed the trash can.
