I don’t care what anyone says about this place, I ordered delivery, I’m 9 months preggo and don’t wanna go anywhere and was really craving Chinese. The food came so fast and the driver was awesome. I’m very picky with Chinese and I got orange chicken and lo mein and the chicken is perfectly spiced and whole pieces of chicken and not battery like most places and the lo mein is just ? I got rice noodles too and a won ton soup. Literally amazing. I’ll be ordering here more often, and the baby loves it ?

The worst food I've ever had. To call Hunan Place a restaurant would be misleading. They don't serve actual food, but rather, a food facsimile. We ordered a Pu-Pu for 2, but every morsel of "food product" was nothing more than heavy batter. Deep fried batter that was somehow burned. The chicken fingers had no chicken, just globs of batter. The crab rangoons were so overcooked and dark brown- somebody needs to change the oil in the fryer- that when dropped on the table they made a "clunking sound" and bounced. Everything was burned and overcooked, i enjoyed nothing from the order and ended up throwing it out and ordering pizza instead. Giving this place 1 star is being generous and I'm only doing it because there's no option to give less. Hunan Place makes no effort to be a restaurant. I would rather eat roadkill then go here again. They should be ashamed to charge money for their product.

I saw All the good reviews I figured maybe I've found a good place. The General chicken needs a heat level. Was way too hot. Out of the pupu the only thing I could actually eat was chicken tenders and the boneless rib were actually not dried out. Everything else tasted bad like they fryd everything at once.I'm never ordering anything from them. Oh the delivery guy was very nice.

The food is amazing, I lost my card and sat outside of the restaurant looking for it. My order was a total of $11. He called and said my order is ready and I said I lost my card, I think it’s at work. I ran back to my job and looked everywhere. I had to cancel the card and order a new one which I explained when I called to place an order the following week. I said I can show you proof my card is in transit and the day I canceled it. He said no and told me I’m banned from the restaurant. Fried Wontons and 10 Sugar Donuts is all I ordered and I am banned. I ordered from them at least 2X’s a month and put other ppl on. SMH

Good food and the online ordering is really easy.

Masterful appetizers. I love crab rangoon and it's always fresh and hot when i get it. Boneless spare ribs no bean sprouts in the rice, and they always remeber.

I decided to try Hunan Place for takeaway, and I was neither disappointed nor sent over the moon. It was an adequate, fresh, and tasty Chinese food experience, but it really didn't leave me feeling like THIS is the one Chinese food place for me forever.I ordered the General Tso's chicken lunch for pickup, opting for an egg roll and adding a small order of crab Rangoons. I had wanted fried plantains, but they were out. Such is life.I headed over about ten or fifteen minutes later and my food was ready and waiting for me. I had considered doing dine in, but despite the menu saying that they offer dine in, I saw reviews that said they didnt. Well, if they do, it doesnt look like it, nor is there a particularly nice atmosphere inside. However, for today and my current desires, that is fine, though it makes it less likely that I will returnI brought my food home and eagerly unpacked it. Everything looked fresh and delicious, and there was a fair amount - enough to make 2 meals of it. I separated out my servings and started my taste adventure. The rice was the yellow fried rice you see at places like Pacific Asian Cuisine in Woonsocket. I prefer this variety to the soy sauce soaked brown that you find elsewhere. It was tasty and adequate. The egg roll was a delight. Nice and crispy with a great filling. This was a highpoint. Be proud of this eggroll - it carried the meal to a higher place. The Rangoons of crab were another story. Neither particularly crabby nor quite cream cheesey enough, they were still crispy and - once again - adequate. The chicken. The star of the show. How did it fare?Nice crisp battering, plenty of sauce, but not spicy at all. Sweet as all get out. I did not expect this since it has a chili pepper next to it on the menu.I went to the fridge, took out my Sriracha, and I fixed what was wrong. Once I added just a little spice, the meal became something I enjoyed rather than just something I was eating. All said?Good food, great price, needs some spice, and the high points for me were the impression of freshness I had of the food, and that eggroll.Low points? I needed my own seasonings, and the overall ambiance of the place is somewhat lacking.Would I go back? Yes. It is fairly close and I like it more than a lot of the other Chinese restaurants that are near us.

The food is very good: crispy chicken, delicious boneless spare ribs, and nothing is too greasy. The containers are packed as much as they can be with food so it’s great portions. This is one of the better places to get some good Chinese food in the area.
