This is our second time here, on this recent visit the food was terrible - two appetizers, two entrees and a dessert and only one was honestly edible. Overly salty, overcooked, and some components were clearly not fresh. Service was fine, but not what you'd expect for a restaurant like this, especially when they're not busy. Forgot drinks, wrong items brought, and generally going MIA for long stretches.

We have been going to J's over the years and the food is always exceptional. My family went to J's for Mother's Day and I want to say that they hit it out of the park! Whrn there is a set menu and a busy day,as there was for Mother's Day brunch, I tend to worry if the food will be up to the usual standard in any restaurant. I have been to other restaurants for holiday meals where the experience was hurried, overcrowded and the food sub par. Not the case at...

My recommendation is to do a wine tasting before 5.30pm when that closes, to decide your favorite wine, then go to dinner and order a bottle.
