Best, simply the best, empanadas north of Peru. And the good news is the rest of the food is fresh, tasty, well priced. So have a great meal and then take a few empanadas home to surprise family and friends.
I'm a road cyclist, and at times my rides take me by this terrific store. I'm always greeted warmly. So many tasty options food-wise. Yesterday's iced coffee had icecubes made with iced coffee. Wow! A+! Many nice gift items, too. Pleasant indoor and outdoor seating, too.
A friend has been talking about this place for ages, so one day I decided to ride up and see what the fuss is all about. If you're looking for a neat little country destination after cruising around some cool North Shore back roads, this it the place. It's part local country store (with Boxford MA branded clothing, kitchen stuff, etc) and part kitchen. There's couches and comfy chairs to sit on inside, but also a small deck and lawn area out back.
