First timer at the NEBG and we were hungry when we arrived. Two salads were ordered and one slice of pizza. The salads were filling and the pizza slice which seemed like a deep, was filling also. The Raspberry Lemonade was Great and Loved the face it was Free Refills. The prices were reasonable to Applebee's. We sat outside which was a great atmosphere and very clean.
Absolutely love this place! A wonderful place to eat while you explore the Garden. My favorite is the chicken salad cranberry walnut sandwich. There are great 1/2 sandwich + soup deals, and there’s something for everyone here. Definitely recommend stopping by, whether you’re visiting the Garden or not.
We were pleasantly surprised at our dining experience in this small cafeteria in the NE Botanical Garden. It has a captive audience, but serves very good, very fresh (and seemingly in-house prepared) food. It’s not inexpensive – a sandwich cost $14.00, but the chicken and apples and cranberries were all nicely blended. The soups vary (perhaps every day?). The offering our day was a rich and delicious vegetable.
