Was there for a Kentucky derby party. Just had two types of sliders for food; that's it! As for drinks , shot glass sized portions of “mint juleps” served in a large plastic cup, with no ice, no mint, nothing to suggest that it was actually a mint julep) , and they ran out of drinks halfway through the 2 hour party. It was horribly crowded and stunningly noisy, which drowned out the coverage of the derby. Too much money for a truly lousy event.

Very family friendly place. Good kids menu, servers were extremely nice and accommodating. A bit on the pricey side which is to be expected at a resort. On some nights they have live music from 8-10.

Food is solid but some dishes lack attention and imagination. For example, the risotto dish is less than interesting. Service people are attentive but over-taxed. They need help. Food delivery was slow and general attention was lacking due to the fact they were short-staffed. There is a single and specific personality who has been working there many years. In our view, this person is overwhelming and nearly overshadows the experience in such a small venue. At times, this person does not listen well, and in general, speaks too often. This person means well and obviously feels they are providing a positive experience for patrons. This may be the case in many situations but not every patron appreciates this person's MO.

This was everything we hoped it would be: classy, casual, delicious food, great service, and cozy ambience. We enjoyed the pretzels with beer cheese dip. The warm sausage was perfection. The fish and chips were crispy on the outside and stuffed with melt-in-your-mouth cod. The batter was light and the fish was plentiful. Flora - thanks for the stellar service.

We had a wonderful time at our first visit to Bayzos. The food was amazingly good and the staff was awesome.

Opentable Diner

Food was excellent. Only complaint was when they asked us what kind of water we wanted, still or sparkling, it would've been nice to know that a bottle of still water was $8.00. That being said, I would 100% recommend it. We both got fish and it was fantastic.

The Irish fare was very tasty on March 15; great presentation of corned beef 'n cabbage. A tad noisy, but very nice ambiance; enjoyed the evening with friends. Maitre 'd was very gracious/helpful and our pleasant waitress provided very good service!

We enjoyed a lovely evening at Bayzo's Pub at the Ocean Edge resort in Brewster. Having made the reservations on Open Table, I called to today to follow up and confirm. I spoke with Matt, who was wonderfully helpful in answering my questions. We arrived at 6pm, and were warmly welcomed. We were given the choice of a couple of tables, and chose one that was a bit away from the others. The pub is cozy but has plenty of room, and is very pleasantly appointed. There were quite a few patrons seated at the bar, and it appeared that they were enjoying themselves with yummy looking cocktails and good conversation. The whole place had a really good vibe. Our server, Cate, was extraordinary. She was welcoming, efficient, helpful, attentive and friendly. There were three of us in our party tonight, and we each thoroughly enjoyed our meals. We started by sharing the Ploughman's Board which included a nice assortment of fruit, cheeses, and crackers. Our entrees were outstanding. I ordered the Shepherd's Pie and it was perfectly prepared. The beef short rib melted in my mouth and the potatoes and gravy were excellent. The other two people in our little group ordered tonight's special, Irish fish and chips. I tasted some of the fish and I honestly believe it's the best I've ever eaten. Absolutely fresh haddock in a perfectly crunchy batter that allowed the mild flaky fish's flavor to be fully savored. We even splurged with desserts — a salty caramel Blondie sundae, apple pie with ice cream, and salty caramel ice cream. Our cocktails included a mocktail mule, and then a Kit Royale and a Cherry Manhattan, all of which were very good. We will look forward to return visits to Bayzo's Pub! Thank you to the hard working and very professional, accommodating crew who made our evening so enjoyable and comfortable!

Really nice place. Food was good and drinks excellent. Eric mixologist is such a treat and Katerina was excellent server.

Bayzos is a great pub! We are Brewster locals and love going for a pub type dinner and enjoy the live music! From time to time it attracts clientele from the resort that can be loud, and not aware that guests are there to enjoy dinner and the entertainment. The service is always excellent!

The food was delicious and reasonably priced. Thandi was our waitress and she was very attentive. She even knew we were celebrating our Anniversary and my husband and I shared a delicious brownie sundae. As we were leaving the restaurant, Mark, the host even extended anniversary wishes.

2 couples in the restaurant when we arrived. Greated by a gentleman who was friendly. Waitress took a while to arrive and she asked if we were ready to order. Said no but wanted to order a beer, she poured water and left. When she came back she asked again If we were ready to order. I said i wanted a beer first. There was no one behind the bar. When he finally showed up she was speaking with him. He wasn't pouring beer. When I. Finally started pouring I watched him pour out several glasses before pouring for my wife and I. One was obviously flat, they didn't notice. Ordered fish and chips and beef empanada. Both were greasy and unapatizing, trater sauce had a film over it. Not the experience we expected.

As visitors from England this sort of filled the brief as a reproduction of an English bar/pub relative to its size.... if you take London as your measure. The food was OK although not as suggested in the description relative to others at the resort (Linx Tavern was way better). The fish (and chips) was borderline cooked... a little slimy. The menu was also a little confusing in terms of sharers/appetisers vs entrees although appreciate may also be targeting people looking to drop in for some bar food with a drink or two rather than a full dining experience and perhaps need to decide exactly which one Bayzo's is. Needs to be quicker if bar food is the angle, and turns out on the day it wasn't quite either. What really let it down on the day was the service which was slow and a bit clumsy. Plates were left on the table too long and there were several instances of breakages behind the bar and things getting knocked over noisily which rather shattered the ambience. Maybe forgivable if going for more of a bar with eats rather than a full on restaurant, but it was early evening and far from busy and hectic at the time. The Linx Tavern up at the golf club was a much better dining experience all round (for essentially the same price) although we still had a nice time, and it's nice to be able to have a general look around The Mansion site and especially to spend time out on the front lawn mingling with people and let the kids have a run around.

We dined here our first night while staying at the resort. For a supposedly luxury resort, the ambiance is nice but the service was slow and the food was very disappointing. Most of the food was mediocre, notably the strawberry shortcake which was dry and stale, and the romaine “hearts” salad which was literally a whole head of lettuce that ricocheted pieces all over the table as I was sawing it into manageable pieces. There were very few vegetarian options (just pasta and the aforementioned head o’ lettuce). And beware, the black coffee was $5 per cup (filled only 2/3) with no free refills so imagine my surprise when I saw an extra $10 on the bill for about 8oz of coffee. Not a great start to this very expensive vacation.

The food was fine, but not great. Pasta was bland, something I could have made better myself at home. Overall, I think it was a nice ambiance and good ingredients, just kind of average food. The prices were for something higher quality than what we received.
