Occasionally, I see a review of this restaurant that rates it as sub-par. This shocks me until I remember that some reviewers probably treasure velveteen portraits of girls with sad eyes in their rec rooms. I assume these folks give raves to McDonald's.
This is hands down the best French restaurant on Cape Cod. The ambiance is warm, intimate, and so romantic but it's the food that really takes you away. Every bite is a full body experience, you can taste the love and care that goes into each meal. The hand picked, fresh ingredients are prepared by a chef whose passion and talent for cooking are undeniable. I can't wait to go back again this season!
Fabulous dinner! Loved everything about this bistro! Excellent food and service! Definitely can't wait until our next dinner at Peddler's!!
This beautiful and charming restaurant is like stepping into Paris. We loved the experience, food, and the adorable husband and wife team. We will be back!
One of the best meals I have ever had. The staff was just as incredible as the delicious French food. I felt transported to another time and place and I honestly didn't want to leave. If you are on the Cape, you MUST go here!
Couldn't get attention of waitress
Excellent French bistro / restaurant. Has a limited menu augmented with a few specials but food was lovely and delivered and presented beautifully. And even with only a few choices it was difficult choosing what to have.
We tried this restaurant after a recommendation from a local relative. This place is tucked away and a hidden gem. We all enjoyed fantastic appetizers with delicious entrees. The entrees were served in hot skillets and you could tell the ingredients were carefully selected and fresh. The restaurant is small and has very a very intimate and romantic candle lit atmosphere. The waitress and everyone we encountered were more than welcoming and treated us as if we were dining in their home. A must visit for us in the future.
Good food, but please slow down the pace, 1 minut between starter and entres is to fast. And you get the feeling you should eat fast, not the french feeling. But nice place though.
One of (if not the best) meal I have ever had!! From the moment we walked in, we felt transported to a quaint French bistro, the staff and food was perfection. I had the duck and it was the best duck I have ever had. The staff was so accommodating to my allergies as well as friendly. We loved our meal so much, we got two desserts!! Both amazing. I would highly recommend Peddler's!!!

A fantastic dinner at a charming spot! The restaurant is small and quaint with a casual, at-home feel. The escargot and mussels were absolutely delicious appetizers, and the salmon main was perfect as well. Great service and food.
We more than loved this place. Everything from cocktails and wine to dessert were done absolutely perfectly ! Thank you Alain and your beautiful wife Beth and daughter-in-law Whitney for such a great night. We can't wait to come back ♡♡♡
Romantic spot in Brewster, perfect for an outdoor cocktail, glass of wine, appetizer, authentic French cuisine! The seafood was delicious, mussels and native clams so fresh, and the atmosphere charming. Delighted we found this local spot, the only downside was not being able to try more from the menu! Looking forward to returning soon.
Off the beaten path of 6A this place is magical; the food, the atmosphere. One of the few independent places among the chains and commercial fish-fry restaurants. The portions are beautiful, generous and cocktails are a nice heavy pour. Special spot, very romantic...it's like dining in a magic tree!
Simply the "BEST" ! Ambiance, service, and especially French cooking. Beth's desserts are wonderful, and Alain's entrees, sauces, appetizers couldn't be better. His homemade salad dressing is worth a trip, itself. We have dined many places overseas, but Peddlers is a treasure :):)
