I ordered the braised pork tacos and was amazed at their flavor and tenderness! Very fresh & generous portion stuffed into the tasty, steamed cornmeal taco. As a side treat the taco is served with perfectly salted, crisp tortilla chips (not at all oily) and salsa enjoyed while taco cooled down. All chased by delicious local Hog Island IPA. The chef owner is a happy cook and aims to please👍 Comfortable picnic tables on the spacious porch

Great place along the CC Rail Trail. I caught a whiff of it so stopped on my way back. I got the El Pastor chicken taco. Easy self service ordering. Fast service and nice presentation. I was happy to see a good amount of chicken in the taco! Yum!

Stopped while biking the rail trail. Came in just as they opened. Food came out super quick, portions were absolutely huge. The food was absolutely amazing, from chips and salsa to all the entrees. The person working was great, can’t say enough about how good the experience was. Weather was great and we had tables outside under umbrellas and it was great.

10/10 best tacos ever. We stopped here after a bike ride down the CCRT, and weren’t disappointed. We had the avocado bites, nachos, and burritos. They also brought out a huge thing of chips with AMAZING salsa. We will be back, probably multiple times this trip.

I rarely (if ever) leave a review but this Taco Shack warranted a 5 star review. The Baja Cod tacos were awesome - lightly battered in a light oil - not heavily breaded and thick with oil like many spots. The taste was superb, and the experience was great because they cater to bikers and we could pull off the rail trail, stay with our bikes, and enjoy a nice lunch.

Our new favorite stop in Brewster! I love heading to the beaches here, and I’m always looking for great food to bring along. We stopped at Picos over the weekend on our way to the beach, and it was such a good decision. Ordering was quick and easy, and the space itself is great—an open kitchen with indoor tables, plus plenty of outdoor seating on the covered deck and patio. I can only imagine how lively it gets on summer days.
We went in late September, and the food was fantastic. Every order comes with hot tortilla chips and salsa, which is AMAZING and the perfect beach fuel. We also noticed a lot of bikers stopping in from the nearby rail trail, so it’s clearly a popular spot. The drinks menu looked awesome too! We all ordered burritos—fish, chicken, steak, and veggie - and every single one was outstanding.

Great food and really friendly service for a take-out order from Picos. There was a slight confusion about something on the order so they just gave us an extra bottled soda and an entire bottle of hot sauce to round out our meal. Love that they throw in chips and a healthy serving of salsa in each order. The vibe seemed really relaxed and fun, so will definitely eat there next time.
Nice place on the bike path to grab a beer at the end of the day or get a quick bite on a ride. The ramen needs less cilantro and more spices, everything could be spicier overall tbh, I don't think they'd say no if you asked for extra chilis though.

One star because we had to rate it. Best thing we had was a 16 oz root beer served in a twelve ounce cup for $4.00. Had to listen to gangsts hip hop waiting about 40 minutes for a dried out burrito. I guess it’s not the taco shack hole for me.
