Closet thing I have had to European coffee since I returned in June. Many may find not to their liking due to their lack of understanding what a proper coffee tastes like. I love it. Not a lot of sitting space in the winter. Wish they had a big/better selection of pastries and or rolls.
Been a long time supporter of Snowy Owl as one of the best coffees on the Cape. Disappointed to say the quality of the craft from the baristas has started to slip. The coffee itself is still some of the best you will find, but level set your expectations if ordering a latte. What was once easily the best Pumpkin Spice Latte I have had (and ordered multiple times with consistency) has turned into a premade mixture that they pour over a watered down latte. I have been on a mission to try every coffee shop on the cape. Snowy Owl was next up and boy is it a beauty. The shop is so tranquil, nestled into a tree lined area it reminds me of a fairy shop. Unfortunately, I wasn’t impressed by the cafe au lait that I tried, but I wouldn’t write this place off completely if you are in the area. Especially if you are looking for a serene spot to just relax. Happy sipping.
