Been a long time supporter of Snowy Owl as one of the best coffees on the Cape. Disappointed to say the quality of the craft from the baristas has started to slip. The coffee itself is still some of the best you will find, but level set your expectations if ordering a latte. I have been on a mission to try every coffee shop on the cape. Snowy Owl was next up and boy is it a beauty. The shop is so tranquil, nestled into a tree lined area it reminds me of a fairy shop. Unfortunately, I wasn’t impressed by the cafe au lait that I tried, but I wouldn’t write this place off completely if you are in the area. Especially if you are looking for a serene spot to just relax. Happy sipping.

Even better, I had coffee there the other day and lost a keepsake Money clip that I’ve had for over 30 years. I called the store. They could not have been kinder. The girl actually left the counter to look for the clip. Long story short, they didn’t find it but a customer did, and the girl behind the counter could not have been nicer when I picked it up.
All places should run this way.
