I ordered the Oktoberfest special, Sauerbraten Platter – it was the worst pork I have ever eaten. Tough, overcooked, and dried out. I have had better sauerbraten from a chafing dish in an autobahn truck stop restaurant. I would truly hate to think the this is an indication of the quality of the oceans edge, other goods and services. Here is a picture of what ‘real’ sauerbraten looks like for your future attempts

We have been coming to The Lawn for the past 3 years and I sadly have to say it has gone downhill during that time. Still beautiful but they used to have Live Music, staff that would interact with the kids, and fire pits. I used to love bringing the kids here, enjoying the good food (still is), having a drink and listening to music as they ran around. Not the same anymore and I wouldn’t say for the better.
