Chessmen's Pizza Bridgewater

What an awesome experience!!! I ordered by phone for pick up. Great and friendly customer service. I had chicken pizza and sweet pizza. The tasty was incredible. Also I ordered Brazilian burgers, and it was amazing. Don’t forget to try the homemade mayo, I love it! Will come back again.

The food in this place is fenomenal. The place is under new ownership and I can honestly say that they are turning it all around! Disregard all the negative reviews and give this lovely place another shot. I love it so much, this is already my 4th week in a roll ordering from them and every pizza/burger is better than the other. Give them a shot! I promise you will be as hooked as I am :).

Their Brazilian burgers and açaí are the best and their mayo is to die for!! I order at least 3x a week. The new owners are so nice and polite and they will make sure you get your order the way you asked for and better. Definitely recommend going there.

Best pizza we've ever had on the south shore. Wonderful service. After new management took over, this place completely changed. I highly recommend.

Earlier tonight I tried to order 1 pizza from Chessmen’s here in Bridgewater. After over an hour, I decided to call the store to inquire about my order. I was told the driver went to the wrong address and would be here soon. Fast forward 20 more minutes and a couple different phone calls between myself and the man taking orders over the phone, a bag with the incorrect food items was delivered. From there, I was told over the phone my actual order would be delivered soon and I would receive a full refund. However, whoever was taking the orders over the phone proceeded to text me multiple times which I thought was strange but I just went along for the updates. The screenshot attached shows what was said when I asked yet again about receiving a refund - "So you paid for the pizza and fries right?! And basically we gave you another wrong which is extra food and now we are making the correct order. So I don’t think a refund is necessary" - A follow up text was sent to me apologizing for being disrespectful after I reiterated our wait time, the mistakes that were made, and the worker verbally agreeing over the phone to a full refund.I’ve never ordered from Chessmen’s and after some research I found out there is new management in place. I felt as though this should be shared because the entire situation was baffling. Our food items didn’t arrive for well over 2 hours with much back and forth and I’m astounded by the text I received.*Update in response to the comment I received back from the "owner" - You claim I received two orders in place of 1 and therefore, I should not be "insisting" on a refund. However, the order I received in the first place was not a gift but rather the incorrect order before waiting another hour for my actual meal. I typically never write reviews or complain but I was told twice a refund would be administered due to the lack of organization and the rude interactions I faced. Management and staff here need training in professionalism and overall customer service etiquette. And for future reference, don't promise refunds if you intend on fighting against it minutes later.

Chessmens just got a new ownership about two weeks ago. They are doing an excellent job! Food is awesome, the costumer service is great. They make their own mayo and it’s the best mayo I’ve ever had. Great job

Chessmen's was sold about a year ago and the new owners are doing a terrible job. They never bothered to get access to the website and online ordering platform. Instead of doing anything about it, they are just ignoring it. You can still place an order online but it will never get processed, although you will receive a confirmation email. The food is terrible and not worth your time or money. The new owners don't understand the difference between a calzone and a quesidilla. Skip it.

How is one of your staff there working there and telling me he has covid 19 and been working there all this time for over 4 weeks now and he tested positive ?

Their steak quesadilla is the steak they use for subs. And the quesadilla isn't full either with it. I tasted more cheese not melted. Also I would put veggies in it. Like onions, pepper, mushrooms ect. And also offer salsa with them and a side of Lettuce.Fried Mac and cheese bites should come with a sauce. And maybe cooked a little less as mines was very hard.Buffalo chicken fingers. Very small pieces for a very big price. Might wanna take the price down or give more pieces? Also don't want salad ranch dressing for Buffalo chicken. Would rather dipping sauce. Ranch?!Don't mean to complain but for the price we paid for everything I expected better . And your pizza is very thin...
