Y’all need to give Kathy a raise!! By far the best server/service I’ve received at a restaurant in a long time and I didn’t even eat in- I got take out! She answered the phone and helped me when I came to pickup, and wow, what a breath of fresh air!! She put a huge smile on my face, I will be back!! The food is also incredible!

Let's begin with going here on purpose. While going off Cape we remembered the t.v commercials and decided to go. Walked in, not busy, a bit before 11 a.m.(Tuesday) and were seated right away. The majority of people were eating already. Server came over, brought coffee and we ordered right away. The reciept says order went in at 11:08. 2 omelettes, 2 pancakes, a waffle... our food arrived at 11:45!!!! Absurd!! Food presentation? Small plates so servings look bigger. Pancakes? Flat. Waffle? The strawberries were okay, at least 2 cups of whipped cream literally glopped on, made half of the waffle so mushy it was inedible. Home fries? Burnt on one side, obviously left to sit on the grill. Anything else? Oh yes the "homemade hash" in my omelette was just chopped corn beef and very lttle of it, no onions or potatoes, usually in hash. The server checked on us ONCE!! $60!!!! To wait that long and food sub par, we even discussed paying for our coffee and canceling our food. I've worked 15 years as a short order breakfast/lunch cook at 2 very busy restaurants so I'm familiar with how this all works, and this place must survive on name only. And ZERO REAL APOLOGY FOR IT. Don't like leaving bad reviews but this was maddening.

So I've been coming here for a couple weeks now. I enjoy it, I enjoy the food and the service is usually fine. But this last visit really made me a bit ticked off. I usually get eggs, tea, and some side dish, usually equalling about $25-38 roughly depending on what I get. But this time like usual I was asked if I wanted a mimosa, I usually say no and drink my tea. But this time I said yes and got a couple more after. I wish I was told by the staff the price was over $13 per drink! I spent $40 on just those 3 drinks. I was livid. If they had just said, we have mimosas for $13 I would have only gotten one or said no. I spent $70 on the food and drinks alone. Needless to say I don't think I'm returning, I'm just absolutely livid at them for essentially tricking me after weeks of good tips and patronage.

I love this place! The food is always delicious! The cook does a fantastic job. The staff is super friendly. I can't say enough about Heather...she is amazing! Lisa is another great waitress. She also goes out of her way to make you feel welcome. I highly recommend this restaurant.

$21.00 for egg Benedict and side of bacon no HF w/ cup coffee seemed a little steep. Now I have to tip my waitress 20% $25.00!!
Lighting in there is way too bright, like in an office building bright.

I alternate between Ronnie's and a local diner. Ronnie's has great food. The home fries aren't coated in that orange powder that a lot of places use. Everything tastes like what it is. The eggs taste like eggs, not like they were fried in the grease of something else. Real maple syrup is available for a fee, and I recommend it. The fake stuff isn't worth using. Go early. It gets very busy on weekends.
