Great food and worth more than the price.I was reluctant to order from here because I assumed the food would be ok. But both times it was way better than expected. The rice was cooked perfect, the fries were crispy and my steak was perfect with mushrooms and eggs. The second time I ordered the octopus, and it was cooked perfect. It was only $17 compared to the place up the street that charges $22 for the same plate, and takes longer to have your food ready. Its under new management. I wish they stay open for a long time, good Cape Verdian food at a more than reasonable price.

I stopped by to ask for a take-out menu and got an attitude from the girl working there. I then asked another employee and she said "are you playin?" No I am not playing! I simply want a menu to take with me... Is that too much to ask? Just a VERY weird vibe/interaction!

Was going to check out another restaurant, by happenstance, saw this restaurant & decided to give it a chance. The place had a live funana band on a Saturday night, packed to the brim. Didn't think that it would be possible to get good service on the count of the amount of people. Yet, the servers got the food out quickly, the music was awesome, & it had a family atmosphere. Try the Grogue rum if you get the chance. Cape Verdian rum is delicious & smooth going down. Prices are very reasonable & it's awesome spot to go for ethic food.
