This is a welcoming place, customerservice was excellent, atmosphere was great also. I went for porridge & i wasn’t satisfied with the food i ordered .. i’m assuming it’s because they just opened & they might need time to get everything seasoned right. I only got salt fish, ackee, porridge & fried dumpling. all of that i give a 3 out of 5. i will return again to see if anything changes. But i do recommend this place for the hospitality & atmosphere.

this is the "rice and peas" it's literally minute microwaved rice and those are the handful of beans I got .. the plantains taste like oil and the fried chicken has absolutely NO FLAVOR ... these raving reviews must be a joke or something. if I can give zero stars I would, this food is literally inedible.

I give this restaurant a 4.99 stars and the .1 off is because I almost chipped a tooth trying to get to every inch of meat. I have ate here before but it's been a couple of years since I returned to them and I can for sure say they they did not disappoint. The meat was extremely tender falling off every inch of the bone. When I opened the plate, I knew right away they were not lacking flavor, based on color. The cabbage was very soft, the oxtails perfectly seasoned. Top tier Jamaican food in Brockton. They did their thing. Couldn't resist eating before taking a pic!

Best Jamaican place I've tried!! I grew up eating Jamaican food in Boston and was sad when I moved out here and didn't see ethnic food around but glad I found this place. Service is good, prices are good, everything is good, you won't regret it.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would! The food here is just gross! I really listened to the positive reviews and realized that people in this area are not used to quality Caribbean food! Don't listen to them. I literally had to throw it away because it was that bad! I ordered curry chicken and rice and you could barely taste the curry! The rice tasted like dog food. Never again! I had guests over and had them try this restaurant. Im embarrassed. This was just disgusting.

Coming in was nice. It wasn't busy on a Monday afternoon. I ordered a beef patty with cheese and coco bread, two plates with rice and peas, plantains, and one with jerk chicken the other with oxtails, and two sides of Mac cause we couldn't get them inside of the plate for some reason. No drinks. Paid 47$. Pretty pricey but okay. The patty was my favorite part of the meal. My boyfriend has had plenty of authentic Jamaican food since he has Jamaican family members and he was not pleased at all with his plate. He said it could have been a lot better. This was my first time having Jamaican food and thought it was okay. I wasn't the biggest fan of their jerk chicken and the plantains were just ok as well as the Mac. I wasn't licking my fingers. I will not be returning as I'm sure I could definitely find a better spot elsewhere.

Low-key incredible food at a reasonable price. We went to the new Bridgewater location early this year but haven't been to the Brockton location in person. However, we make full use of delivery and have ordered from Jamaica's Best a number of times now. Everything we've had here is delicious, flavorful, and well prepared. The portion sizes won't disappoint either! We usually get a medium size on the jerk or curry meats which comes with rice, veggies, and plantains and that lasts us three meals each. My personal faves from here are the oxtail and jerk pork. SO likes to get beef patties from here, and I've seen other carribbean classics on the menu I'd like to try at some point. Highly recommend supporting!

The first time? Beautiful atmosphere...friendly staff and the food left me speechless! I am a lover of Goat and Oxtail as well as all other foods from Jamaica. Plates were full and satisfying...the wife and I? Happy 2nd visit? Not as full plates as before. Same ambiance but this time just left a bad taste in my mouth period.. 3rd and final time? I ordered the same plates I did previous visits (and by the way...Covid was not the reason as my visits were way before it came into fruition) the attitudes changed to the server barely listening to me and or giving me any eye contact whatsoever and the woman who served me the first two times was on the phone but pointing at her and telling her how mucj to give me?? It all came to (2 plates and 2 beef patties) 43.00???? Neither women could explain why it cost so much when I have been getting the same orders in the past and would only be around 28.00 This seems like its always the issue... Non consistent with food or pricing Way too much attitude Robbing the community...period Good luck in Bridgewater....the wife I I tried to eat out there as well so we went on a double date as your site said it was open. Closed... The search for an exceptional Jamaican Restuarant continues...

Small business great food. I was on the hunt for quality Jamaican food when I came across this jewel. Every visit the ladies there are very friendly. Even doordashed a few times. I have yet to be disappointed in the food quality. You will definitely get your monies worth at this place.
