Born and bred in Brockton, after driving by this place all of my life I finally got to try it for myself yesterday. Everything from the food to the service was fantastic. Do not order the chicken parm sandwich. It’s a high school lunch chicken sandwhich with fries for $20. The pizza was half cooked and the cheese felt plastic and fake.

Just not good. Ordered a pizza. It was horrible. Grease so gross it soaked through the wax paper, the box and then into my car seat. And this was just a pizza with garlic and onions. Not pepperoni or sausage. It was very small. Like a personal pizza. For the price I was expecting a real pizza. Anyway. Nice guy but not good pizza. Try somewhere else.

Regrettably, my recent visit to Home Cafe, left much to be desired. The pizza, supposedly the highlight of the establishment, fell short of expectations. The crust was disappointingly soggy, lacking the promised crispness, and the toppings seemed to lack freshness. The overall flavor profile was unimpressive, leaving me questioning the hype surrounding this pizza joint. The service was subpar, with a notable lack of attentiveness from the staff, and the ambiance was uninviting, contributing to an overall underwhelming dining experience. Unfortunately, Home Cafe failed to deliver the enjoyable pizza outing I had hoped for, and I won't be rushing back anytime soon.

Excellent bar style pizza. Friendly and attentive service.Parking: Street parking was readily available on a weekend night.
Home Cafe doesn't look much from the outside- like a lounge from yesteryear, but please venture in anyway. It is surprisingly big with plenty of seats. We came on a Sunday afternoon- Pat's game was on. There were a group of characters hanging out with the bartender Terri cutting up with them- it created a jovial atmosphere. The beer selection isn't great, but they have all the regular beers- Lagunitas IPA was the most adventurous. We came for the pizza, but the menu has a lot of other options. We started with the boneless Buffalo wings (we wanted to try the potato skins but they were out- thankfully, Terri informed us before our hearts were set on them!) We got the "wings" medium and they were amazing! The meat was tender with a slightly crunch outside. There was a nice heat on the sauce without been unbearable (bonus, we were told the sauce was made in house and it was delish). The pizza was great too- extra cheese for me- cooked perfectly and tasted as good as it looked. My husband got sausage and onion, he really enjoyed it. I had a piece of the sausage- it had great flavor. All around great experience and at a great price.
