Chicken parm, 2 pecies not 3 as usual. Small with lots of pasta.my plate okay, but lasagna was cold. Ravioli, meatball & sausage all warm and lots of pasta. Very disappointed in the chicken parm. Totally different from last time.

Italian Restaurant of Brockton: A Classic Italian Experience
If you're looking for a taste of old-school Italian cuisine, look no further than the Italian Restaurant of Brockton. This charming establishment offers a retro atmosphere and hearty, authentic dishes that will leave you craving more.
I recently had the pleasure of dining here and was thoroughly impressed. The "Behemoth" Italian sub was a monster of a sandwich, packed with flavorful meats, cheese, and fresh vegetables. It was a true feast for the senses! The "Pu Pu platter" was another standout, offering a delicious sampling of sausage, meatballs, ravioli, and lasagna.
The restaurant's old-fashioned vibe adds to its charm, making it a perfect spot for a casual meal. If you're in the Brockton area, I highly recommend giving the Italian Restaurant a try. You won't be disappointed!

Heard rave reviews about this place so decided to give it a try. Had the chicken Parmesan, it was terrible. The sauce was decent but the chicken was very dry/ grainy and there was bately any cheese on it. I also had a little bit of my friends penne Alfredo. It was decent but not stellar. Pverall, very underwhelmed

Still love the place but it’s not the same. Worked here 30 years ago under the great Gus with Paul, Turbo, and others. Moved away 29 years ago but always back to visit and nothing changed. Sadly, this last time, fundamental changes were made. It’s still good except for the veal was thin sliced leather, and most newcomers will enjoy.
But if you grew up on the sauce, meatballs and sausage—you’ll find it’s not the same place. Spices have been added and what made the IK what it was for 60 years is no longer with Gus retired. I suppose they waited until he left fully out of respect before making changes.
Bring back the old sauce loaded with meatball grease and take out the new spices!

Best authentic Italian dining experience I have ever had the privilege to have. This place here, The Italian Kitchen of Brockton has been open since 1967, so they been doing something right. Now everytime ive gone I’ve gotten an Italian and something else to try. The subs is always made fresh, vibrant and colorful ingredients with pungent flavorful aromas. Taking a bit almost feels wrong with way the food is presented to you it looks like a work of art. Masterfully crafted down to the last detail. I’d heavily recommend the gnocchi. They give a large sized portion and it’s best best flipping gnocchi you’ll ever have. I think the bowl I got was $9 or something insane. They container felt like it was holding a brick. Very happy about the Price to Portions ratio. In fact I always been told that if a place is good and quick and isn’t cheap and if it’s cheap and quick and ain’t good but I’ll tell you all the Italian Kitchen of Brockton is a trifecta for speed, quality and price the Italian Kitchen of Brockton can’t be beat!

Try the stuffed green pepper with peas dinner! It’s not on the menu.
Veal parm sub was terrible, Veal was all dried out around edges of each piece, sauce didn't even make it more palatable - $17.40 for 1 bite! Cheese ravioli was good, although I.K. meat sauce is just "okay". Pastrami sub was just ok. Tiaramusu was terrible and "large" canoli, which in no way was large, was very good. All in all I am not very happy and will neither recommend it nor return; the Italian Kitchen has really gone down hill and it makes me sad. The young man who took my order is an excellent employee and representative of his employer.

I've been going to italian kitchen for 20 years plus and always get a salad, veal parm with spaghetti also meatballs. I've never written a review before unfortunately I'm so disappointed in the veal something is different I couldn't even eat a 1/3 of it. Edges were hard never have I had that happen before.Prices much higher I feel as well sad was one of my favorite places I can't recommend the veal to you everything was great as usual.
Still great, even under new management. Went today to have lunch with my mom and my 92 year old grandmother, who seems to enjoy having nothing nice to say whenever we go out to eat but she was delighted and satisfied with her lunch.
