I happened to see this place when I was eating at the Japanese takeout joint across the street and decided to give it a shot today. I was not disappointed!!!! I ordered the goat in sauce with brown rice and pinto beans and an order of the fried calamari. The food was great and the owner was super friendly!! I will definitely be eating here again.

The owner is exceptionally kind. While I waited for my order, he graciously offered me a few pieces of fried pork (griyo) with pikliz. It was delicious. So tender! I engaged in a conversation with him about lalo (jute leaves) and how I’ve never had any that was to my liking except when my cousin prepares it. He went to the back and retrieved a fork with lalo on it for me to taste… Y- U - M !!!
