Went for a dinner party for our first time. There is a good amount to choose from and no matter what you choose, it is flavorful and has great portions. I got chicken, rice and beans, plantain, and balsamic asparagus, marinade twice and I really appreciate the consistence with their food. I have tried many Haitian restaurants all around MA and this has to be the best chicken I had tasted. Flavorful, beautiful char, and has a kick to it! Only downside is the bar was not open during our first visit and our servers seemed impatient with our large party or over the night…but I can understand that. Either way, I highly recommend this restaurant. Delicious delicious delicious 🤍

The food was delicious, the atmosphere was great. The service needs to be a little bit faster on the other hand. Definitely a place where I will go back to.

Had the pleasure of coming to Sunrise for my Grandma’s 90th birthday. The management and staff were super accommodating and helped us execute a beautiful party for Grandma. The day of the event staff also supported our needs with all the party set up. The food was very tasty and well presented. The only recommendation I would have is that staff anticipate the needs of party guests. For example bring out water with appetizers, refill water as needed, and provide drinks options (tea, coffee) with dessert. Overall my experience at Sunrise was great and I am very proud we have quality restaurants like this on the south shore that represent the Caribbean diaspora.

Who is rating and eating this terrible food? Placed our order via Uber Eats. couldn’t dismiss this terrible cuisine! We ordered the supposed Jackson Famous Steak tips; this establishment has 4+ ratings so i expected decent food. Menu also had what appears to be a variety of Caribbean food and since I’m also from the Caribbean, my assumption is that it would have been good. The steak is HARD; really a very tough cut! The seasoning is sitting on the meat; it has not been marinated nor tenderized. My husband ordered the fish tacos and rice and peas. These were passable. I dumped mine. There are no words to encapsulate my disappointment. This is bottom tier food; very disappointing for a new resident of Brockton in search of good Caribbean cuisine.

The service there is exceptional, I had a birthday party there, food was amazing the owner was very polite to us, and thanked us for our support. Much needed in our community
Filmed a short film here and also got to try the chicken wrap and sweet potato fries.
Really terrific lighting and atmosphere with floor to ceiling windows in the front, beautiful lighting fixtures and extremely clean interior.
The chicken wrap was seasoned to perfection and, yes I was really hungry, I probably could have eaten 3 or 4 of them if my stomach allowed, they were that good.
The sweet potato fries were also excellent, primarily due to being cooked to perfection and lightly seasoned, complimenting the natural sweet potato flavor wonderfully.
Vegetarian options: Great vegetarian considerations

I really enjoyed the food! Great portions and very delicious. And the prices are good! I had a nice sized plate of rice and legume with a side of brocolli, te jenjam, banan peze and my bill was about $20. The vibe is boring though. I went for lunch and it was pretty straight forward and not too many people in there. Only reason I'm giving 4 stars is because the restaurant hours being closed on Sunday and Monday. Very inconvenient! Every Haitian goes out to eat after church on Sunday. Being closed on Sunday is a bad move imo.
