food was great, good prices, very clean place, friendly staff. Only negative, no English menus avaliable. I'm happy I came with a friend that could order for me. I'd be back, but will have to bring a friend that can order for me!
Lots of noise. 😡 lower the volume please

Hello, I have been a somewhat frequent customer of Guayaquil Manta this year and have brought Ecuadorian friends from places far away like Boston and Quincy since it is the only Ecuadorian restaurant I know and I have recommended almost more than half an hour going to the restaurant. I would like to see if I can contact a manager for some comments. But my opinions are something general of my friends and myself; At first the food was good, the onion and the quaker. There were other cooks and waiters, including those in the kitchen who said they were Guayacos and I did feel the seasoning. But the last 3 times the food has declined in flavor, I don't even want to judge but I already had 2 encebollados that didn't taste like before and the last time I ate for a birthday I preferred not to eat encebollado so as not to get a bad taste and so I ordered a fish encocado ; My comments are not good... the liquid tasted like a mixture of steak with dry juice and I don't know what pods else and it had lumps of coconut to give it flavor but personally it was not good at all and I would not repeat it and I even saw a cook who I don't remember if they said was Guatemalan and well I don't judge but he doesn't have to know seasoning even if he is trained... in the end I ate it because I was hungry and it took a while for the food to arrive so I didn't want to make anyone uncomfortable to my companions who also didn't like the onion they ordered. (Personally, the onion from the real brand that they sell in a can tasted better to me) And about the quaker, well, the first time we loved it, but the last few times the quaker didn't taste good. I did not complain about the attention, what did bother me the last 2 times is that there was music at very loud volume and it was not Ecuadorian music but rather northern or ranchera music but hey it is optional just a little lower the volume. I can comment a little more but it is not to make you feel bad... I just want to go to eat more times, I don't want to be an annoying customer... and be a strict customer with the taste. I also work as a waiter in a restaurant, I only ask that you please improve the food. Ecuadorian and let that be said, it is the only place I know in all of Massachusetts 🙏🏻 and I have invited Ecuadorian friends who have no idea of any restaurants nearby. I would like to go again and eat a good coastal encebollado like the first time I went. I know that the owner is Ecuadorian, please if you read this comment please let me know that you read my comment since for me Ecuadorian food is valuable and it is the only restaurant that I have liked to go out to eat with friends. And thank you for the desserts that came from you to us at the beginning I even felt like I was going out to eat in my own land🇪🇨

I didn't like it, I ordered an encebollado, uff inedible, salty, the fish, tuna, albacore, is the right one for the encebollado, very little of the rice they give,
Food was fresh and delicious. A little bit of a language barrier.

The food was terrible, I ordered birra tacos, it had no flavor it was super dry and costed $50! For trash food, I wanted to try something new but next time I’ll go and stick with Teffys Mexican restaurant, it’s so much better! Terrible terrible terrible !
