My girlfriend and I absolutely love coming here to do work, chat, or enjoy some coffee. Our favorite thing to order is the cortado. The staff is so friendly and welcoming, and the ambiance is very cozy. Best spot in Brookline

I like the atmosphere! A lot of students with their computers and happy groups around. I did not tried the sweets but looks delicious. I did not like the cheese pie because I was expecting more cheesy. Cappuccino was great.

I have loved Athan's bakery for a long time. However, I recently went to eat there and there was no tables available to sit. I waited standing for 15 minutes to see if anyone would get up. After a while a table of people got up and I went to sit down. The barista went to stop me saying that I could not sit there because I was only one person. I told him I would move to another table as soon as it became available because, at the moment, every other table was taken. He insisted that this is Brookline and that he will not make enough money off of me if I sat at that table. Needless to say, I left. I'm sad that this institution has become so unwelcoming and inconsiderate to its Brookline neighbors that have supported them for decades.

If you want some truly special cake slices, this is the place in Boston. I think the pastries are a bit dry otherwise. The baklava is tasty though.

I can't say enough good things about this place. The atmosphere is perfect. I've spent hours here catching up on work, reading, or chatting with friends. I always feel better after an Athan's visit. Best cafe in Boston for sure!!!

This place blew me away when i stepped in. I got a hot cocoa, and I saw that they put mix in it, but when i asked them about it, they said they made it by themselves. When i tried it, it tasted amazing and i would definitely recommend going.

This place is not like any other bakery or cafe. The atmosphere is so nice and cozy and the staff is so nice. The cashier is super nice and the barista made my drink so fast. From the selection of the pastries to the tastiness of the coffee, this place is great. I loved the baklava, rice pudding, and the mango mousse cake. There is such a diverse selection of pastries to choose from. I also want to give an honorable mention to the biscuit selection, as there is such a variety of cookies and Greek biscuits. All in all, this place is a must-go in brookline.

Very cute cafe and large selection of goods to choose from. The young lady at the cashier was very informative and helpful concerning items I needed for Christmas. I definitely go again.
