Great food and large portions! Service is good too

Saw a picture of Tangsu yuk and had to try it. Tried few other dishes and they were authentic with flavors on point, but somewhat lacking ..
Pork tangsu yuk $28 came with tangsu sauce poured over already, but quickly became dry and very hard, perhaps too much starch in their batter. Tangsu sauce was good.
Jjajang myeon $14 Jjajang sauce flavor was good but again drier than typical jjajang sauce and left noodles not moist even after sauce was mixed in.
Tteok bokki $14 Thoroughly enjoyed! Full flavor and just right amount of spicy kick.
Seating was like the wood church pew chairs, hard as rock , so uncomfortable.
Vibe seemed perfect for solo diners to come and enjoy comfort foods.

The food taste here is very good. Galbi, fried chicken, bulgogi.

However, in giving it lower stars because my husband bit into the bulgogi meat (that I ordered for him for take away), and chipped his tooth! There was a bone or something in it. There shouldn’t be something like a bone in bulgogi.

Came in at like 9 and they still served me. Food was great staff was really nice. It’s a bit pricey but most Korean bbq places are.

Food was ok but this place forced me to tip in an uncomfortable way. I paid for my food. Left/walked outside the door and the cashier ran after me ‘YOU HAVE TO TIP!!!’

By far the most authentic and delicious Korean dishes I’ve had since living in Korea! Absolutely the real deal and incredibly fresh. The owner was really friendly and overall the experience was a delight. Highly recommend!

We got the kimchijigae and dolsot bibimbap. They were both very flavorful and high quality!

Loved almost everything I've had here. Definitely my favorite korean place in the "boston" area. I've enjoyed my food almost everytime, but recently I ordered the Mul Naengmyeon and found it to be too sweet. I also didn't receive any vinegar or mustard on the side which is common for most mul naengmyeon I've had. I think with those I would've really enjoyed the flavor. Still 5 star though because maybe it's just my taste preference. Their Korean Chinese food is amazing though, and absolutely loved their galbitang. Their side dishes tasted very fresh and nice too, I wish there was more of it (I get nervous asking for refills haha) Service and atmosphere was lovely, love that they have outdoor seating now :)

Compared to other many other Korean restaurants (in the US and Korea) the beef bulgogi was ok/pretty average; not too special but pretty tender. The portion was also very large. However the chicken bibimbap was bland and flavorless. The chicken was boiled, dry snd unseasoned, just like the rice. There was no sesame oil on the egg, rice, or vegetables, which is a staple in bibimbap.

Ttukbaegi bulgogi soup was flavorful and had a good assortment of vegetables, noodles and rice cakes (over cooked, but may be due to takeout). The mul nangmyeon was very watery. Even if the ice in the soup melted because we got takeout, it was watery to a point where there was almost no flavor (regardless, the ice should have been made out of soup rather than water). The only source of flavor came from the vegetable toppings (cucumber and radish).

The banchan (side dishes) were very small and included pickled radish, kimchi, and boiled broccoli. The rice was very stale and resembled cheap takeout rice rather than the type of rice typically served in Korean restaurants.

Overall, the soup and beef were pretty good, the nangmyeon was bland (may be due to takeout) and the bibimbap was bland. 2.5/5

We ordered pork belly, korean pancake, and kimchi soup. We had high expectations for the pork belly but unfortunately we were disappointed, the pork was stiff and the sauce was not that good. Some pieces were unchewable. The kimchi soup was a little bit toward the watery side, not very rich in flavor. The Korean pancake was the best out of the 3 dishes, but still wouldn’t say it is the best I’ve ever had.

The food is so tasteless...

The mackerel + soft tofu combo costs $30, but I regret not having just bought it at Hmart.

I invited my friends to try out the Korean food of this restaurant. However, we had unpleasant experience with the service from the waitresses. First of all, the speed of serving food was slow, we could feel the temperature of the fried dishes was almost the same as room temperature. Second, one of the waitresses was a bit rude with her movement, when there was no space on the table for a new serving, she just put the plate around the corner, without helping us clean the empty plates or informing us. I was disappointed after this visit. I used to highly recommended to my friends, but I would not do so anymore.
