After being at several Newport Harbor Restaurant Group properties lately we finally got back to the closest one to us Bar'Cino in Brookline. We took a young professional couple we have met recently. They are new to some parts of Boston and so were thrilled to see the street scene on Beacon Street. We sat inside, though the outdoor seating is very attractive with a certain European feel to it. Our server Berenice was very attentive and knowledgeable. After some wine while waiting for me to park, my companions enjoyed sharing the Prosciutto Bruschetta and the Braised Meatballs. Both marvelous... We proceeded to entree's starting with my rigatoni bolognese. Just the way your grandmother would have prepared it. My companions each ordered a pizza which came with kitchen scissors for each! What fun! We are reminded what a great energetic setting of people of all ages, interests, families, friends atmosphere Bar'Cino's are. We will be back soon. Highly recommended.

Lovely evening at an outside table on the patio. I appreciated that we could reserve a table outside. We had a friendly server and great food — portions were normal sized and priced accordingly. It was one of those easy evenings under the strings of lights where everything came together. We'll be back!

Crispy cauliflower was sooo good. Chicken Milanese good. The drinks were pretty but we both doubted if there was any alcohol in them. Server was excellent.

I really enjoyed going to Bar ‘Cino. They play the music very loud inside it was hard for our table to have a conversation. I will be booking an outdoor seat next time it was quieter outside.
We sat at the bar for dinner and the service was friendly and made my old-fashioned drink exactly as I requested. The cauliflower appetizer was amazing. It felt a little awkward cutting our pizza with the kitchen shears provided. All in all it was a very good first experience for us and we will be back.

We love Barcino Brookline and have been there many times. The outdoor porch is wonderful and they have heat lamps for when it gets chilly. The food is always reliably good, often surprisingly so. This last time they did something above and beyond- my husband has a hazelnut allergy and asked if a certain dessert had hazelnuts in it. They came back with the dessert which they had re-made without the hazelnut layer! It was a super nice thing to do. Highly recommend for a nice/casual meal. It's quieter outside than inside
