Food is very good and drinks are great but overall extremely noisy, crowded, and even with a reservation you can expect to be seated 40-45 min after the originally planned time. The place turns into a club vibe with louder bumping music at around 9:30 or 10. Legit wore ear plugs to protect my ears LmaoOrdered patatas paella empanadas and ricotta. Definitely dont miss out of the ricotta. That was the highlight of the night

I love having the location closer to me - consistently great food and wine options, service is always friendly. Would recommend a reservation for regular dinner hours...but honestly after 7:30-8 it's pretty easy to get a table or a bar seat!

The food and the service were excellent. The restaurant was this evening packed to the brim with customers trying to enjoy each others company however the music was so laud that you could hardly hear the waiter confirming the order or the company at the table.Management should play calming music in low volume to influence the volume of the talking customers. This evening they didn't so we hurried to get out onto the quiet Boston streets as quickly as possible.

Food and bar service was amazing! Table service was fine, went on a Saturday night and had a reservation at peak seating, they were extremely busy. If you're going on the weekend, absolutely make a reservation - it was packed. Ricotta tapas was AMAZING, definitely recommend. They asked about and were mindful of allergens, which I appreciate. I'll be back for more!

I went here with a group of friends for dinner. It is difficult to get a table walk in unless you reserve it. Because they are popular, they call and confirm your reservation sometimes. We were seated probably 5-10 min after our reserved time. The place is large but they cramped the tables so close. The atmosphere is modern but very loud. The food (dinner menu) is definitely overpriced. They have vegetables like roasted carrots and mushrooms as well as meat dishes. The roasted carrots were priced around $7 and a very thinly sliced steak was $16. At least 1/3 of the menu was spicy and the food is on the greasier side. The cheese and charcuterie board was nice. We got a goat cheese platter and the cheese quality was very good. The drinks here are mediocre for the price point. Overall, it is a hip place but overpriced for sure.
excellent time at barcelona wine bar! loved the tapas and the cocktails. the environment was also so much fun and definitely is a good spot to go to before a night out- the bar area gets a little crazy after 9 pm!

They were packed and underatandably there was a mix up and one of our dishes didn't make it to us at first. All we needed to do was me tion and it and the delightful waitstaff went and made sure we would get our order, but they also kindly and unnecessarily gave us a free plate of scallops as means of apology.And let me tell you when we go back we will be ordering those scallops they were melt in your mouth good. A must stop with a kind staff and great platesWheelchair accessibility: Street parking in Brookline is very accommodating to handicap parking and the restaurant itself has a ramp as the entry hall that anybody could get a wheelchair or walker up.
