This place is fire. Service was great for being so busy. Margarita was delicious and strong. Guacamole had a great flavor. Plaintains were flavorful with dipping sauce. Tacos were all super good ? recommend the crispy pork belly

Mr Christopher Ragland,was a breath of fresh air he was kind, intentional & paid attention to details ,our dining experience was 10stars we will return when in town from Houston.
I called at 11:42am on Friday 10/4, spoke with the hostess and made reservation for 6 people at 8:30pm. We show up in the evening and the host tells us that Bartaco does not take reservations and that it’s walk in only. He tells us it’s a 20 minute wait. We decide to wait while we noticed there was an open table in the middle of the room.
25 minutes go by and I go to check with the host and he tells me, “oh we were just about to call you, your table is ready”. And of course it’s the open table that was available since we arrived. Not sure who they were holding that table for if they don’t take reservations.
Once the food came out, it was disorganized and everyone’s taco orders were mixed around.
Despite this, the food was good. I enjoyed the chorizo, pork belly, and fish tacos. Drinks were good too.

I had a disappointing experience at Bartaco that left me feeling scammed. I ordered online for our party ( bartaco has this option even if you dine in) but couldn’t find a way to choose my tip amount. When I asked the waiter, she assured me it would be fine. The next day, I was shocked to see a charge that was about $75 more than I expected.
I noticed extra items on my bill that I never ordered or received, along with a 20% tip added without my knowledge. To make matters worse, the order history on their website disappeared, so I can't verify the exact charges.
I reached out to Bartaco via Instagram and email, and while they promised someone would contact me, I'm still waiting two days later. It feels like this was intentional rather than a mistake. I can't recommend this place based on my experience.
Small bites and reasonable loved their falafel taco, lime shrimp tacos. We could choose different tacos and create it as one order. We ordered here while the weather was still warm and sunny. Will return

Great artisanal tacos and cocktails. Very similar to Lonestar taco, but with more options. Tacos are on the small side, I need five to fill up, but are priced under $4 a piece. My favorite were the chorizo, pork belly, and fish taco.
Service is friendly and prompt. The restaurants itself is very open and have a very welcoming comfy vibe. I'll def come again!

I've been to bartaco 3 times and it was great and this is why I tried bringing friends here last friday 9-6. We were told to wait 45 minutes for a table which is fair enough since it was a Friday night so we thought we'd pick up a friend living 15 minutes away. Well 10 minutes into the drive I get a text saying the table is ready so of course we're about 20 minutes late for it and had to haggle to be given a booth upon arrival.
Over the course of our meal we were "taken care of" by some 5 different staff - more like treated like an after thought. Ordered 4 spicy Margheritas, but only 1 arrived within 10 minutes. We cancelled one and replaced it with beer on the order, some 25 minutes later the other two marks came and beer a full 45 minutes in after asking for it 3 times to 3 different staffs. Our food orders came as ordered similarly staggered so nobody could eat together/at the same time..
When the check came they told us they were "giving us a break" and comping the marg that never arrived ... uh yeah no shit, because we cancelled it ourselves?
This is one of just two times in this country I didn't leave a tip - 5 waiters, who would even get it? The other time was when olive garden entirely forgot my table and I got so thirsty I went to the bathroom and drank from the sink with cupped hands. You guys are in impressive company ?

Excellent tacos! I had the spiced chicken verde tacos and the glazed pork belly tacos. The service was excellent and quick. One caveat, I am not a fan of how they do their chips; it is just a large, round, flat baked corn tortilla, similar to a tostado shell.
I cannot wait to go back!

Went here on our first day in Boston. Wanted something easy and close to hotel. Cute patio, seems clean. However, The QR ordering system and service is awful. Server came by to explain order from phone , scan QR code. I've used QR codes. Easy enough, Requires form of payment to be entered before ordering, still okay but clumsy.
However, I had a question about the menu and when I presented her with the question she said I can look it up with the QR code. We placed our order and food came quickly. However while we all ordered different things, they all came out on one plate. We couldn't tell which was which and had no idea if we were eating what we ordered. Fish and shrimp tacos were both served crispy so I wasn't sure which one I was grabbing. It was a bit of a guessing game. No plates delivered to our table in order to place our mystery selections on once removed from the main plate. Asked them to decipher what was what on the tray and we were dismissed and server was incredibly rude. Most was tasty but not spectacular. Rib eye taco was good and the only one we knew for sure what it was. Upon paying the tip percentage was automatically set to 18% which I left. I normally tip 20 to 25 minimum. Had a hard time leaving a tip at all for the service we received. Feel like the server should at least be able to answer questions about menu and not be directed to a QR code.

We went to bartaco tonight and the food was great and the service was incredible. Our waitress, Mary, was amazing. We were sitting outside, and since it was a little chilly, I went inside to ask if they had any extra sweatshirts. Tim, the AGM, gave the sweatshirt off his own back. Everyone was very patient with us and happy to help. 10/10 would dine again.

I don’t usually write reviews, but my experience at Bartaco was so special that I had to share it. First off, I have to commend our server—I’m pretty sure his name was Jesus. He provided exceptional service that you’d expect from a fancier restaurant. Right off the bat, his personable personality stood out. He seemed like a funny guy but was also extremely courteous and kind. He took great care of us, recommending tacos, and I always looked forward to his visits to our table because he always had something interesting to say.
The food was amazing; I’d come back anytime for that pork belly. But more than the food, it was the service that made our visit memorable. Jesus really got to know us, learned our names, and shared his experiences in college. He seemed like such a bright and promising young man that I couldn’t help but root for his success.
In conclusion, the food here is great—that’s undeniable. But you can get good food anywhere. What truly sets this place apart is the exceptional service from servers like Jesus and the manager Tim, which you can't find just anywhere.
