This was my second visit to Café Nero in Brookline, and unfortunately, it was as disappointing as the first. Both times, I ordered my coffee with an extra shot of espresso, hoping for a stronger coffee flavor. However, on both occasions, the drink tasted overwhelmingly of milk, with the coffee barely discernible. Given these consistent experiences, I won't be returning to this location.

Bad attitude from the employees here, they don't list all their sizes on the menu which is confusing, and then they give you attitude about not knowing about the unlisted intricacies of their menu. Their reaction to my confusion was entirely unhelpful and unappreciated.

I came for TGTO today, but somehow the system must have some glitches; they told me there were already two people before me and they were not aware of a third person coming. Nevertheless, the two employees were super nice and helpful and gave me two bakeries that were not supposed to be TGTO I guess.
I especially want to thank the female employee who has been so kind and empathetic with me! (Sorry I didn’t get your name! You brighten my day! And the food is delicious too! ?)
Employees are chatting loudly in quiet coffee shop which ruins the vibes & focus. They started doing this default 20% tip thing with no “no tip” option too. Matcha latte is sweetened by default. Go to tatte instead

The food is good but it’s like corporate teaches their employees to be apathetic and annoyed. Every location is the same so it has to be a corporate issue. Most times you have to remind them of your food order because they forget while making your drink. Go out of necessity not because it’s friendly.
