Absolutely amazing - great friendly staff and by far the best Birria I’ve had in Boston. Salsa was awesome too. Warmly recommended !!!

Went for what was suggested as Boston's best breakfast burrito... not a great breakfast burrito, but will certainly be back to try the main menu items.

The quality of both the food and the service at this location has completely gone down the drain. We ordered the catering-size guacamole, and what we got was a disgusting, brown mess that tasted sour and rotten. When we brought it to the cashier’s attention, she didn’t apologize—instead, she snapped back with an excuse about “that being the color of the avocados they get.” Seriously?

This place has clearly stopped caring about customers. If you want edible food and staff who don’t act like they’re doing you a favor just by speaking to you, go to the Chestnut Hill location instead. They actually know how to treat people, and their guac is fresh and delicious. Avoid the Brookline location like the plague.

Food was 10/10. Grab the birria tacos and the torta with in house made bread. Churros with condensed milk are also great. Great spot to go with some friends.

This place is not a good Mexican restaurant to go eat from. Bad customer service and the price of a taco is a rip off and depending what you are adding on the taco determines the price. Way too expensive and the food isn’t that great at all I will not be going back here no more.

I got the worst food poisoning of my life ordering from here for the first time. NEVER again. Sorely disappointed.

We went to this place to try out a new burrito place in Brookline. The atmosphere is nice and trendy, with bright lights and artwork that is ubiquitous in newer establishment. However, ultimately what matters is the food and service, in this regard chilacates was woefully inadequate.

The food is fine, but that is mostly due to the fact that it's pretty hard to mess up rice beans and protein. The burrito I ordered was entirely too much rice and not enough anything else. Additionally the process is different to similar establishments in that you order off a board and just wait for your food.

This leads me to the poor service where the person taking the order was mumbling, and simultaneously did not want us or her to be there.

If you are looking for a place to eat in Brookline that serves burritos, and tacos there are 3 more establishments within 1 mile that are better. Do yourself the favor and go to a different place.

I found hair in my food. The worker insisted that this was not hair but it was. Instead of pulling the item out to inspect it she just threw it out. Not sure why that specific worker always has a bad attitude but this will definitely be my last time eating here after finding that in my food along with the poor customer service

No record of my online order. Slow.

Sometimes when I come in here I see the servers touching all the surfaces with gloves on and not changing gloves before handling food. I saw someone wipe his hands on his pants and then touch my burrito with the same gloves! I couldn't eat my food after I saw that. This has happened more than once!
