My favorite, # 1 bakery in the Boston area. I've been coming here for years. Lots of, lots of love for this place and folks. ❤️❤️❤️🫶 Their breads and pastries are simply the best. It’s the kind of bread that takes you straight back to your grandma’s kitchen.
Over the years, they've gotten incredibly popular, and the lines now can be a bit much, especially on weekends or holidays. So I don’t stop by as often these days, but they’ll always have a special place in my heart.
This place should be declared a national landmark!

Went to pick up some bread and baked goods. The line was crrrazzzy but I wasn't expecting it so maybe that's just something you must emotionally prepare for ahead of time. The staff were very nice. Their baked goods and bread were lovely but not mind blowing. I'm not sure I'd go back but if you're looking for something on a nice day it could be a good option.

Clear Flour makes the best bread! We love having locally made, fresh, healthy bread available at the bakery and also at the Brookline Farmers Market, Allandale Farm, and Volantes in Needham (when I'm lucky to find it not sold out).

Clear Flour is well worth the drive or the walk. While I started coming to Clear Flour for the bakery, when they opened a coffee shop next door, it became a mainstay of my week.
The coffee is great, and there are rotating sandwiches and snacks to start the day right. The sandwiches are spectacular (I just had the BLT, and they put a little bit of dill in the spread which made everything really pop off). It’s nice that I can come here with my veggie head friends because they offer a vegetarian sandwich option alongside their other sandwich… something for everyone!

Clear Flour Bakery is incredible! The bread is always fresh, crusty, and full of flavor, and the pastries are buttery, flaky, and absolutely delicious. Favorites include the croissants and morning buns, but honestly everything I’ve tried has been outstanding. Friendly staff, worth the wait every time!

on the downside, it's a small space, can be quite hot inside, and the line often stretches out the door and around the building - but I think that's probably a sign that they're doing something right if so many folks are willing to stand and wait.
