Lovely little place! Absolutely delicious food and wine and so cozy and warm. Service was friendly and attentive but not “hovering”. Great music that didn't overpower conversation. Lively bar scene but not overly crowded. We live in the Back Bay so we have plenty of options near home but will come back again and again. Thanks for a great night!
Samantha was attentive and described the food and cocktails perfectly. Our dishes were incredible. We'll be back.
Music is great in the background. Drinks amazing. Food great- don't count out the raw bar entrees. Service is above and beyond.
The broccolini and the mushroom tips to start were perfect. The 'Ndjua pizza was distinctive and marvelously spicy. All of the personnel were delightful.
Probably the most sensational salad I've had in years. Incredibly inventive mix of ingredients — and the freshness! Pizza literally put of this world.
My wife for her birthday. We had an excellent time. The quality of food is exceptional, service. Impeccable, and the atmosphere, fantastic! We'll definitely be back.
Really enjoyed my salad, pizza and wine as well as the cozy atmosphere. I'll definitely be back.
We have dined at Prairie Fire many times and we always enjoy our dinners there. Last night was delightful and our server, Samantha was absolutely wonderful. She was a perfect blend of attentive care, welcoming hospitality and knowledgeable menu suggestions. We will request her in our Open Table reservation notes for our next visit. Everyone at our table enjoyed their salads, entrees and desserts, fully. Our only complaint was we were not able to linger there after dinner. The front of house was having to turn our table because they were slammed with a wave of diners waiting to be seated. Next time we will most likely plan a weekday night to dine at Prairie Fire.
Lovely neighborhood bistro, the cocktails, tuna tartare, pizzas, chicken, pasta and striped bass all fantastic. Our favorite place in Brookline. Books up early with reservations but seats at bar not too hard to come by if you come early
The food was exceptional. Highlights were the mushroom toast, a salad with buttermilk dressing, and the lemon fettuccine with clams. Love this place and only wish I lived closer!

Amazing food, service, and ambience. Our favorite restaurant in the neighborhood and of all of Boston.
Always absolutely delicious food (We go here often)! I had the striped bass and it was delicious. The service was a little off (a bit too eager, intrusive, and instead of my friend's beer arriving with the pizza as requested, he had eaten quite a bit of his pizza before the beer arrived). But that wasn't typical. The service is usually great. Lively ambience but not too loud. We always bring our out of town guests here because it's so reliably excellent.
We enjoyed our dinner tremendously. My husband had the squid ink spaghetti and i had the beef cheek agnilotti. The sauce for both dish were very tasty! What a great dinner!
Our first visit, definitely not our last, but probably not until the Fall. The entrees seem to fall on the heavier side, more comfort than warm or hot weather choices. Hailey was our server, she was personable and professional, definitely a plus, as was a perfectly mixed Paper Plane. Great pre or post movie spot!
Phenomenal food and phenomenal service always! Excellent vibe, always very chill but with a lot of character.
