This is my favorite fish tacos place in Boston. It beats the fish tacos from El Pelón and Los Amigos. I always get the el dorado tacos and they have been consistently great over the years. Typically, there's some cool music on too. So many great restaurants have closed down in Brookline and I hope this one never will. It's a gem.
Dorados is a great place for quick street tacos, among other delicious tex-mex inspired foods. While they seem to have shrunk a bit since they first opened, the quality of the tacos has remained intact. My favorite is the Baha inspired fish tacos. They have a regular and spicy version, and each includes beer battered Pollack, plus salsa fresca, pickled veggies and crema. Really good sit down or take out. Never crazy busy and definitely worth the wait. I've been multiple times and none disappointed. This is a must go to if you enjoy Mexican cuisine!
