Service was good as th waitress very attentive to my vegetarian needs so the miso soup was vegan friendly. The vegetarian sushi was very good. A bit surprise with the tofu dashi was a biit plain compared to original japanese version.

I’d say it’s pretty average all around. The rice is soft. The fish tasted pretty normal. I got the Yaki udon which was in my opinion not that good. I probably wouldn’t come back, but it was a warm and cozy place. I thought the prices were fairly priced as well so a lot of good to come.

The sushi's great. We usually do the take out. They are always on time, order is correct. Highly recommend
Large menu with lots of delicious options! A Brookline staple for classic rolls.
The restaurant was extremely clean, the wait time was less than five minutes after I ordered, the prices were really affordable affair, and the staff is really attentive and nice! The music and ambience made the whole experience. Wonderful I definitely recommend visiting and trying out.🥹❤️❤️❤️

Not sure about the sushi, but whatever you do, do not order the udon noodles. They must have cooked the noodles with the veggies because it was a $25 bland, soggy mess.

I was at the genka yacht in Cambridge a little while back and thought I'd put it back in my regular rotation. But this place convinced me otherwise. The sushi just was not fabulous.

TL;DR: This place shamelessly charged a completely unjustified “big party fee” to three 12-year-old kids. This kind of brazen, dishonest behavior — exploiting children just because they can — is disgraceful and inexcusable.
My 12-year-old son and two of his friends went to eat at this restaurant, and to our shock, they were charged a “big party fee” – an outrageous and completely unjustifiable charge for a group of just three children. There is absolutely no way a party of three should qualify for any kind of “large group” fee.
Afterwards, I called the restaurant to ask from what group size they start applying this fee. They told me it only applies to parties of six or more. So why was it charged to a group of three kids? It’s hard to see this as anything but an attempt to take advantage of children who may not know better or feel confident enough to question the bill.
This kind of behavior is not just unprofessional – it’s dishonest, exploitative, and deeply inappropriate.
Parents, be warned: do not let your kids go here alone.
As adults, we will also be staying far away from any business that behaves with such nerve, dishonesty, and apparent disregard for basic consumer rights.
Always fresh. I love this place.
Great attention and delicious food
