Lovely fast service

I didnt eat that much here.

No seating and no restrooms

The baked goods were cute but I wouldn't say they're outstanding in terms of taste

Absolutely no seating here! It’s just a takeout place.

Wonderful little Asian bakery! I popped by Japonaise Bakery & Cafe to grab a few baked goodies for my friends and I, and we were all thoroughly impressed by everything here -- the classics (e.g., red bean bun, melon bun) were all delicious, but it was also really fun to try out a few of their specialty items (e.g., strawberry cream bun, black sesame melon bun). Every item featured soft, pillowy bread, and a generous serving of the filling. The filling was always the perfect level of sweetness (i.e., not overly sweet), although the strawberry cream bun did feel a bit more decadent / sweet compared to the other items. I also appreciated the staff's attention to detail and commitment to quality; their red bean buns were slightly overbaked, so they offered me those pastries for free.

There isn't any seating available inside, but the shop is still quite cute, and there's a small covered patio a few blocks away that you can sit at.

Japonaise Bakery is a Japanese bakery specializing in Japanese confectionery and baked goods.

Staff is friendly and able to make orders quite quickly, and I've never had an issue with any issues being out of stock or not prepared quickly.

The food is alright. For the price point, it is a bit on the higher side in my opinion, but the quality makes up for it. I've gotten a few of their sandwiches, and they're good but kind of small for their price, but it was quite tasty. The pastries are good as well, no complaints about them.

Great Japanese French bakery with delicious baked goods. Japanese owned and love all the touches of Japanese anime.

Great bakery with amazing coffee. I was in Boston for a few days staying close by and went there every morning for coffee and great pastries for my daughter. I had the blueberry cheese danish and it was amazing!!!

The food is as good as ever! It's very whimsical and well-made.
I've been coming here for years (apart from their several year hiatus and remodel). Since the remodel, the complete lack of seating both indoors and outdoors is rather annoying and I'm wondering why they would do this. They used to have seating for ~12-15 when you combined the indoor and outdoor two-seater tables. It's awkward having no place to sit down.

$14 for three pastries is never OK, even if in Singapore or Hong Kong.

Good selection of pastries, but the price is simply unbearable. Three pastries (2 melon pans and a pain au chocolat) for $13, is that reality? We are not in New York or Switzerland.
