Lakon Paris Patisserie Reviews
The best place 🥰 Love ❤️ ❤️
Recently placed a large order for our wedding with the manager, Anthony ( in Brookline) to be picked up on our wedding day. Went back a 2nd time to reconfirm with the same manager and was told that everything would be ready to pick up the morning of our wedding. We offered to pay in advance, but he insisted on our paying upon pickup.
We show up the morning of our wedding and no one has prepared our order, with seemingly no record of it. The manager wasn't there, so his...read full review
My daughter stopped in today on her way out of a drs appt. She brought home 2 perfect pistachio croissant and a box with 12 macaron. Everything was delicious. I don’t understand the limits! Her trip here must have been after noon time (1-2pm). They said one croissant per order, but since it was her and her bf they allowed them to purchase two. Lakon Paris Patisserie is known for its delicious croissants, including the ham & cheese and almond varieties. Customers appreciate the option to order ahead for pickup, although they sometimes still face lines upon arrival. The patisserie is small and can be crowded, making it difficult to stay and enjoy. Despite this, the quick service and tasty treats, such as the crème brûlée, make for a satisfying visit. The bakery offers a variety of pastries and special croissants, which are highly praised. The black squid ink croissant is a popular savory choice, and many customers enjoy the unique flavors and designs of the croissants, with the tomato basil and scallion selections being favorites.
While some customers drive from nearby states to visit and value the ability to order items in advance, others have mixed experiences with the service. Although one recent visitor noted excellent and warm customer service, there were reports of unwelcoming interactions, where staff members did not greet customers or offer assistance. Customers have found the bakery can run out of items quickly, and prices are considered a bit high. Overall, going earlier in the day is recommended to enjoy a wider selection of treats and enhance the experience of visiting this gem of a patisserie.
