Our go to local joint for bar Japanese food! Staff is always friendly, the food always at a good price and delicious. We go as often as we can!
My wife is Japanese. When in Japan we often eat at Izakaya restaurants, and based on our experience Omori is pretty authentic. We tried 8 or 9 different menu items and liked them all. Service was excellent -- which is essential for Izakaya style dining. By the way, the cocktails are also cheap and good! All in all, we give it 4.5 stars.
Delicious food. Great service. Highly recommended. Yum yum!!
This is one of the best sushi spots I've ever been to. The Snow Mountain is my all time fav!
Best sushi in Brookline! And freshest in Boston
We had a great experience. Stopped in here for drinks + apps. Got sake, shrimp tempura and the cabbage salad. Sat at the bar. Fast service, relaxed environment. Everything tasted soooo good! We will be back. Seems like it gets really busy - we came at off hours and were sat fast. We were in a rush and appreciate the fast service from start to finish. Check them out!
Good quality sashimi and soup. The food takes around 30 min to be delivered.

Good and authentic Japanese food. The place hasn't got too much japanese mood, but it's still enjoyable.

Came across the way to try this place, biggest mistake of my life. Sat in the back, smelled like the bathroom. Food was bland, Tako Wasabi was extra fishy. The yaki soba had an herbal taste to it. Ck karage was tender but flavorless. Beef yakitory was sad, even with some teriyaki sauce on it. Left wanting a big mac. Service Annie was nice, but the others were extra pushy with taking away our plates. I felt rushed. There was clearly food on the plates but the waiters kept asking us if we were done. Not yet hunnayyyy... But done now foreverrrrr.

Food was delicious, but man, their Mai Tai is so freaking good. Definitely will be back.
Parking: Went there on a Sunday, so paying for parking was free (meters in that area are free on Sundays and holidays). Was able yo find a parking spot literally a couple of steps from the restaurant.

Got tuna donburi on my lunch break.
The tuna was wicked chewy that the texture was just offputting.
Presentation was on point but that was the only thing.
There is a ton of restaraunts to choose from therefore keep this off your list.

Went out with a friend. Tried mostly combo's because it was my first time there. The grilled Mackerel was really good - not dry, hot, and appropriately salted (went well with the sauce too). Highly recommend. The sushi and sashimi combo was particularly good - nice variety and the fish was pretty fresh. Would recommend if you want something of a variety. The kamada sushi which has yellow tail was really good. Kyshiyaki combo was okay - it was mainly various types of meat and sausauges. Will probably not order that again (the ingredients are pretty simple, they were salty, and I'm personally not a fan of sausages). Mochi ice cream was small (2 for $5) but tasty. It was worth the buck as you can't find them around too often. Servers were friendly and indoor was pretty cozy and felt like Japan, nice ambience.
