It was awful. They forgot about us in the private room. We had to get up and ask someone for drinks. They never came back and asked if we wanted more. No show for hibachi just cooked. Never asked if we wanted anything to drink and we all had empty glasses. And just brought the check without asking if we wanted anything else. The floor were so slippery. There was old food stuck to the grill. We were there for a special occasion and even decorated the room. They did not make it feel special at all in fact we totally felt forgotten and unwanted. Such a bummer.

My reservation was honored and I was seated right away at my hibachi table. The dinner and show was outstanding. I definitely got a great value for my money at Osaka Japanese Steakhouse in Coolidge Corner. I would definitely go back.

Food quality has gone down. Poor service. Group of drunk college kids screaming along to songs for 20 minutes. Bad experience and won't be returning

Soup and salad as part of hibachi dinners are just about always expected. Neither are offered here even at higher prices than other hibachi places. Service was good. The served food was good (slightly below average portions) but overall value was very poor. Should be able get more for your money at other hibachi places some even at lower prices. Oh and not to mention, skipping out on shrimp appetizers offered as complimentary at most other hibachi places…. O_o/

Almost always expect to have soup and salad included as part of hibachi dinners. This is the first hibachi I have experienced where those were not offered at prices higher than other hibachi places. Dinner portions were small also. Poor value but easily fixable if the management can understand these short comings...

Delicious sushi that was also served in a rather artful way. The ambience and inside is decorated in a simple and elegant manner. Service was very quick and staff were friendly even when it seemed pretty busy. Looking forward to returning here the next time I'm in Brookline!

It was one of my first time in a Japanese restaurant and it did NOT disappoint ! The staff are great , the food is absolutely amazing , I got to try the chicken and the meat , rice is amazing and I am not a fan of vegetables but they were quite alright. place is clean and spacious and the chefs are VERY skillful and nice. Overall highly recommended! We also tried their HUGE drinks , also was awesome !

We ordered Osaka Supreme for dinner on last week. The chicken is bitter , lobster is so dryyyy and shrimp ..Eeee . Beefs are ok With that quality of food and it is not worth what we paid . Never come back again

Very crowded and noisy. Food was typical tepanyaki fare. Included salad is no longer included or available. Avocado salad very good. Miso soup tasty but cold. Everything else good. Chef was very entertaining, onion volcano fire, food flipping, egg tossing, etc. My main objection was the exhaust fan. It wasn't working properly and I was downwind and engulfed in smoke while he was cooking.

The quality of the food has diminished while the prices have gone up. No salad or soup with Hibachi orders. The chef's tricks were non-existence. Osaka had better days when you were warmly greeted at the door by the manager and were sent over mochi ice cream on the house.

The food was excellent and the service was very good. We had a large group (with children) at a Hibachi Table. The chef was skilled and entertaining. The only drawback was the acoustics - it was hard to hear our family that was on the other side the cooking surface. Otherwise, a great experience.

Really good and classic habichi experience! Loved the place. Hospitality was great, skillfull chefs and amazing food!

Little different from other Hibachi-style restaurants, in that there was no soup or salad before the entree. Portions were a bit bigger, which was fine. Food was good. Would go back.
