One of my favorite restaurants. Been checking in every so often to see if they have opened back up but no luck, Hoping they come back soon because the food here is some of the best I've had.

Amazing staff, amazing food, amazing environment. I have been a lifelong customer of Pomodoro and it’s not hard to see why once you try it out. The menu has a lot of great choices for people of all ages. The service, especially during Corona, is impeccable. They take every precaution to make sure your food gets to you safe and amazing.

Love Pomodoro. Delicious food, creative drinks with lovely atmosphere. A family favorite of ours for years.

Great contactless takeout. Incredible bolognese. Travels well and still delicious once back home. Highly recommended for COVID-era takeout!

Delicious food, and very safe takeout during these difficult times. We called in our order and they were waiting inside with our food at the appointed pickup time. When they saw me outside someone came out with our food, wearing a mask and gloves. All very safe, and great food as always at Pomodoro.

Was turned away at a 5:15pm walk-in because we had a two year old and asked for a high chair. As if the rude, “oh you don’t have a reservation? Hmm” greeting wasn’t bad enough (at 5pm mind you; restaurant was empty), the server then told my wife and I that the restaurant was not kid friendly and hence, they didn’t have have high chairs and we should go to the restaurant next door. So we did. Felt like a poor experience for a Brookline restaurant where families are everywhere.

Overall pretty good. They gave a lot of bread which was great for my party of 9. Also, they gave us delicious free fried rice mushroom balls as appetizers. The carbonara and the eggplant lasagna were very good but what won me over on this was the plain pasta with butter. Even though this wasn't on the menu, the chef's culinary skills were so good that he was able to make this masterpiece. 4/5 would recommend.

Came here for Valentines Day. They took reservation which was nice. The interior of the restaurant is very beautiful, aesthetically pleasing, and builds a romantic, warm atmosphere. The service and waitress was a bit slow, though it was peak rush hour on Valentine's day so I'll give it a pass. Ordered the Calamari, Fra Diavolo, Carbonara, and the tirimisu cake for dessert. The calamari was very crispy, fresh, and comes with two choices of dipping. It was not salted at all, so it tasted bland. 3/5 The fra diavolo was alright. The sauce was a bit overpowering with the wine taste and didn't really have that 'fra diavolo' taste. Came with decent portion of noodles and seafood at least. 3/5 The carbonara was delicious, though I am a s***** for carbonara. The pancetta was super yummy, the sauce was emulsified and done perfectly, and the pasta was al dente. 5/5 The tirimisu cake was probably one of the best tirimisu cakes I've had. It had a perfect balance of sweetness, bouncyness, and coffee-flavor to it. 5/5 Overall, was an enjoyable experience and would recommend for date nights if you are near the Brookline area and want some Italian food. 4/5

Such a quaint place. Food was fresh and tasty. Great wine list and the staff was so friendly. Glad we stopped here! Will definately be back.

This is one of the best Italian restaurants in Boston! I went for the first time a few weeks ago and the food was amazing. I had the Bucatini with Wild Mushrooms and it was some of the best pasta I've had.

This spot constantly delivers. They have good dishes for reasonable pricing, there are no long waits even when the spot is packed.

We usually walked past Pomodoro to go to other restaurants in the area. I don't know why, but probably the plain exterior was not a visual draw. Also, they do not have a website, only accept cash, and close up by 10pm. Nonetheless, we decided to meet up with some friends here for a birthday dinner and regretted not having experienced Pomodoro's sooner. The pasta is fresh, well-made, and the menus are familiar yet creative (e.g. I very much enjoyed the orrechiette with sausage). The breads and salads are flavorful. Desserts are well crafted, especially the 'Budino'. Wine selection is not vast, but defnitely competent. The servers are somewhat stretched, but will make the time to attend to your questions and they offer up some very knowledgeable suggestions. Pomodoro's is a cozy restaurant, with a neighborhood vibe. It is simple, but not spartan. There a few tables (mostly couples, and a few groups), and plenty of room at the bar / counter for dining and drinks. We like Pomodoro a lot. We've already been here twice in the span of a few weeks. And we will probably be back again in a few weeks time.

My friend took me to this restaurant in 2018, since then we have been having dinners there. He has been a customer to this restaurant for half of his life. It’s an one of best restaurants that I have been to. The food and the taste is delicious, the price isn’t that high. The service and the atmosphere are beyond great as well.

Great place if you are interested in overpriced, mediocre food with service delivered by indifferent yet entitled staff. Also, you will probably be supporting a business engaging in tax evasion.
