Just as advice, chilaquiles are not served with pickled jalapeños (they are not nachos), they should be served warm, generous amount of queso fresco and the protein usually does not come seasoned, for example of you serve them with chicken, it should be shredded and served on top. This means do no use the marinated chicken for tacos on the chilaquiles becuase the flavours mixed and taste funky.
The service was terrible (both on order and pick-up) and the food was super salty. It's comparably authentic to Taco Bell down the street, so go there instead for better prices and a margarita.
Tacos were amazing, salsa matcha and overall quality was all on point. Who woulda thought a brewery and taqueria could pair so well!? Will be back.
Enjoyed a delicious lunch. Everything was cooked perfectly. Crisp and tasty nachos, yummy sauces. A “return to” location.
I love Taqueria El Barrio! Their tacos are delicious and the service is great.❤️
Their tortillas are handmade which really differentiates them from other places.
Pro Tip: You can purchase their tortillas at Formaggio and store them in your freezer. I always have a pack around my home and use them to make quesadillas.
Taqueria el barrio makes the best flour tortillas! And I love their chicken tacos.
This place is so delicious! I highly recommend the tacos those are my favorite. Also can’t resist churros!!
I love this place, one of my go-to's for tacos! Delicious and fresh and the people that work there are so lovely and nice. Everything I've ever had here has been great! Highly recommend.
Really enjoyed my tacos! Phenomenal Birria tacos. Super flavorful and reasonably priced for the quality. I left full and will certainly be back.
Staff was friendly when ordering as well 👍🏻

Hands down the best tacos in Boston! I love how fresh everything is starting with the handmade flour tortillas. Yum! I loved them so much that I bought some packaged tortillas to throw in my freezer to have on hand at home. The pollo and carnitas are my favorite tacos here and no order is complete without the street corn. So yummy and fresh with the perfect amount of lime, spice and roast. I do miss the location at Boston Common. It was the perfect place to enjoy some excellent tacos and yummy Trillium beer on a warm day out in Boston.
Absolutely delicious food!! We had to double check it was vegan and gluten free because the food tasted so good. The kids enjoyed the chips with salsa and guacamole, not too spicy and not too mild, just right. We will definitely be back again soon to try more yummy food!
“Absolutely love this place! The handmade tortillas are next-level, bringing a fresh, authentic flavor to every bite. And don’t even get me started on the salsa matcha — it’s rich, smoky, and adds the perfect kick. If you’re a taco lover, this spot is a must-visit!”
They catered a party I attended. The food was delicious and it was fun to make your own tasty tacos.
They served extremely spoiled salsa. It was so spoiled that it had become extremely fizzy, like it was left long enough in a jar past its expiry date that it fizzed more than any soda. When we gave it back they just looked puzzled and didn’t offer a replacement, or a refund.
Ridiculous, do not go if you value your health.
