Rather disappointing in general and even compared to other Tatte locations in the Boston area - even though we visited near peak hours, the pastries were not fresh at all and simply bland and tasteless.

You need to ramp up your quality control issues. I order through Door Dash and I am not getting the correct items I order over and over again. This is NOT Door Dash's issue. You are not leaving the correct order for them to pick up. They are more than happy to give me $1.19 credit for a 6.00 item that was missing? No more. The last order was similar but the missing item was much more expensive. I am not accepting pennies on your mistakes any more. Do something!

Tatte Bakery & Cafe on Beacon Street is consistently disappointing, with busy crowds and food that never exceeds mediocrity. It caters to a specific audience, but for those seeking more than average fare and ambiance, it falls short.Full/Extended Version:Having visited three different Tatte locations, including the one on Beacon Street, my experiences have consistently left me underwhelmed and occasionally frustrated. This particular franchise, like its counterparts, is perpetually bustling, which can be off-putting for those seeking a more relaxed dining experience. While Tatte has its loyal following, I find that its offerings, while decent, never quite reach the level of exceptional.Tatte seems to cater to a specific niche, one that values convenience and a certain aesthetic over culinary excellence. As with Starbucks or Chipotle, Tatte draws in a devoted clientele that appreciates its consistent, if unremarkable, fare. For those already familiar with and fond of Tatte, my opinion is unlikely to sway them. They know what they like, and Tatte delivers that reliably. However, for someone like myself who values the experience of dining in matters of taste, service, and ambience, Tatte falls flat. The interior is pleasant enough but lacks the charm or character that would make it stand out. The service is efficient but not particularly warm or welcoming. And the food, while tolerable, never ventures beyond the realm of ordinary.Tatte Bakery & Cafe on Beacon Street is a place I would only visit if all other options were exhausted or if someone I was with strongly preferred it. It's not a destination for me, lacking the special qualities that would make it a memorable dining experience.

Awesome Amazingness

This was my first ever Tatte location I went to. It was warm out so I sat outside for a nice view. Got the prosciutto toast with pesto and goat cheese and now it’s my go to Tatte dish. Their honey halva house latte is a must try too - also my go to Tatte drink.

Had a good quality matcha and a fresh tasting dish. Ambience was pretty lively without being overwhelming. We did have to prowl for a table for a bit, which I was not expecting for a Thursday morning. Lots of hard workers in the house. Overall good vibes :) but low seat turnover rate :(

I am a long-time fan of Tatte's Lamb Shakshuka, and have ordered it at numerous Tatte locations over the years. I ordered one at this location for lunch yesterday, and several hours later experienced the worst case of what I presume to be food poisoning I had ever had :( This was a total aberration from my other experiences at Tatte. I write this review hesitantly given my love for Tatte, but I do think that leadership at this location should be aware there was an issue with either their food quality or preparation yesterday. Thank you.

Excellent. My favorite coffee shop/breakfast spot in Boston. I visit every time I'm in town.

We visited for coffee and a light dessert after brunch across the street. As you would expect on a Sunday early afternoon the place was lively and very busy yet we were able to get our order in after a short wait in line. Some of our company were more particular about things and their particularities where satisfied quickly and without issue. Very impressed with the hardworking staff thank you very much!

Delicious, fresh food with many options. Great breakfast sandwich options for all ages, quiche, soup, salad and coffee bar. Great environment. Very busy so hard to get a table, but there is a reason why!

Overpriced pastries.. but the barista with the dark hair and nose ring was a joke of a service person. Literally she is the only horrible customer service person in Brookline in recent memory. Awful attitude..needs hospitality training.

Typically crowded but a fast turn around on orders - just tricky to find seating. Basic lattes - no flavor shots. Something I need to enjoy coffee so if you like it sweet like me, come for the food but pass on the coffee!
