Tbaar – A Hidden Gem for Winter Specials & Authentic Jianbing in Brookline
📍 Location: Tbaar, 1038 Beacon St, Brookline, MA 02446
Tbaar in Brookline is bringing something fresh and exciting to the area with their winter special drinks and a massive Chinese crepe (Jianbing, 煎饼) that’s unlike anything I’ve had before!
Drinks – Fresh & Flavorful 🍓🥭
Their Strawberry and Golden Pineapple drinks are made with real fresh fruit, making them a refreshing and vibrant treat. The fruit flavors shine through, delivering a natural sweetness without being overly sugary. Perfectly balanced and great for a winter pick-me-up!
Chinese Crepe (Jianbing) – A Must-Try! 🥞✨
The Jianbing, a traditional Chinese street food, was huge—literally the size of my head! 😱 It came packed with egg, sausage, and pork floss, making it a hearty and satisfying meal. The crepe itself was light and crispy on the outside while holding all the savory goodness inside. It had a great mix of textures and flavors, from the soft egg to the slightly crunchy pork floss, and was well-seasoned without being too overpowering. Definitely a solid 8/10 and something I’d come back for!
Final Thoughts 💯
With its unique offerings and authentic flavors, Tbaar stands out in Brookline’s food scene. Whether you’re stopping by for a fresh fruit drink or a filling Chinese crepe, this spot is worth a visit. I highly recommend checking them out!

Best smoothie place, no contest. Freshest fruit and delicious combos that are alittle different like the dragon fruit, dream papaya and the regular green smoothies are my favorites. You cant go wrong. Very nice staff & clean environment
Got the tbaar milk tea and it was extremely diluted. Also tasted random pomelo cross contamination?
I’m seriously frustrated with TBaar. I paid full price for my drink, and it wasn’t even filled all the way. This isn’t the first time it’s happened, and it’s unacceptable. For the prices you charge, the least you can do is give customers what they’re paying for.
Great place with a relaxing vibe, the taro milk tea was a bit too sweet for me but was still good! Will come back again.
Ordered Tbaar milk green tea and taro milk tea, both were delicious and fragrance. Great prices as well.
I really like them! They have so many smoothies and juices with no additional sugar added (just pure fruit) which is so hard to find at a boba place, especially as someone who stays away from dairy, added sugar, and too much caffeine. Staff is also nice

TBaar is a chain of boba shops with a focus on fruit teas with a closed location in Chinatown as well as one in the Quincy area.
I come here quite infrequently due to the location, but it is still one of my favorites. This location is located in a sublevel on the street, with a few seating areas and a robust wall for drinks. The service has always been quite good, with them being able to make drinks very quickly as well as explain any discrepancies on the menu.
I usually order the fruit teas, which are not that sweet but very refreshing. The boba or jelly goes with the drinks the best, as I prefer a more sweet topping for the drink. I would definitely recommend the passionfruit or the mango drinks compared to the milk teas.

Best Bubble Tea spot in all Boston. Drinks are always fresh. The flavors are always very characteristic of each drink, and the service is very good. I've bought Bubble Tea from many other places, and none of them taste like these. The best ones for me, personally: Panda Green Milk Tea, Coconut Milk Tea, Fresh Brewed Oolong Tea W. Milk. In either way, tbh all and the Fresh Fruit & Teas are very good options.
